Kapamilya actor Joem Bascon has made a name for himself since his showbiz journey started over 15 years ago. Many can label him as a versatile actor after performing various roles, jumping from a supportive sidekick of the lead to an iconic villainous character to a remarkable main cast role.

After a couple of years since breaking through the industry, Joem landed the role as the dashing Pete Labrador in Precious Hearts Romances Presents The Bud Brothers. After capturing women’s hearts with his charm, he introduced a different image when he played the mischievous and spiteful Judah in the 2010 fantasy drama Noah.

Realizing how he could excel in complex roles, Joem explored different projects that challenged him in his craft. In the crime drama Nasaan Ka, Elisa?, he played the police officer, Cristobal Rivas, who was tasked to investigate the disappearance of Elisa while dealing with the ghosts of his past.

Around the same time, Joem began taking on roles in the popular drama anthology, Maalaala Mo Kaya, and showcased his skill in heavy drama projects. The following years, he was also cast in several projects that remain memorable until today.

Joem played the main antagonist Tomas Alcantara in the romantic series Walang Hanggan, which starred Coco Martin, Julia Montes, Dawn Zulueta, and Richard Gomez. The year after, he took a short participation as Dante in the inspirational drama May Isang Pangarap.

The thriving actor was also a part of the iconic love triangle drama, The Legal Wife starring Angel Locsin, Jericho Rosales, and Maja Salvador, as he played Javi Santiago. The 2015 remake of Pangako Sa ‘Yo is another primetime bida serye that’s part of his portfolio after he portrayed Caloy Macaspac. The same year, he also joined the star-studded cast of the longest running action drama FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.

Joem is also known for his performances in the teleseryes Pusong Ligaw, The Good Son, and Ang Sa Iyo Ay Akin. Currently, he is taking on his most controversial role yet as Enzo Tierra in the hit revenge drama The Broken Marriage Vow. His portrayal of Enzo, the abusive boyfriend of Diane (played by Jane Oineza), sparks gigil-filled conversations among audiences who are hooked to the show.
