Directed by Petersen Vargas, “A Very Good Girl” will then be released in select theaters in the United States starting October 6. This date is a week earlier than the previously announced date.

For its Philippine release, the movie will premiere in cinemas this September 27.

Earlier this month, Star Cinema also revealed the film's official synopsis that further fanned the public's curiosity and excitement.

It reads, "After a heartless firing triggers a chain of unfortunate events, Philo (Kathryn Bernardo) plots a meticulous revenge against retail mogul Mother Molly (Dolly de Leon), aiming to dismantle her empire and seize the ultimate payback. This time, there is no mercy."

"A Very Good Girl" also stars Donna Cariaga, Chie Filomeno, Jake Ejercito, Ana Abad Santos, Gillian Vicencio, Kaori Oinuma, Nour Hooshmand, Althea Ruedas, and Nathania Guerrero, with the special participation of Angel Aquino.

The film is under the creative direction of Carmi Raymundo, from a story by Marionne Dominique Mancol, and a screenplay by her, Daniel Saniana, and Jumbo Albano.
