Love, lies and revenge will burn in the upcoming afternoon teleserye “Nag-Aapoy Na Damdamin,” a collaboration between ABSC-CBN and TV5, and headlined by Jane Oineza, JC De Vera, Ria Atayde, and Tony Labrusca.

“Sigurado ka bang kilala mo ang asawa mo?” was the question posed by the series during its grand media conference attended by the cast and directors FM Reyes and Benedict Mique.

“The foundation of a good relationship are most often based on lies. You form little lies to please the other. Pero ibang bagay kasi ‘yung form of lie that is coming from distrust and distraction,” shared Direk FM, who called “Nag-Aapoy Na Damdamin” the most beautiful story he’s been given in the span of his career.

Backing up his statements is the series’ full trailer that hints at deception between the characters of Jane and JC, and Ria and Tony, and the revenge that both these power couples are bent on.

“When people undergo change, there is a fire that builds within each of us. Doon nabubuo ‘yung core ng mga characters ng show na ‘to,” added Carmela Abaygar, head writer, while her fellow creatives teased major explosive scenes that will set viewers’ emotions on fire.

Meanwhile, Direk Benedict praised the lead stars, whom he described as young, good-looking, and vibrant.

Ria dons the character of Melinda, a PR maven “with a lot of sass and kasupladahan.” Everything she does is driven by love for her husband Lucas, a powerful lawyer portrayed by Tony.

JC plays Philip Salazar, a passionate doctor soused in anger because of ego and lies.

Taking on her first teleserye lead role, Jane is bound to drive viewers into her shockingly extreme portrayal of dual characters. In the beginning, she’s Olivia, the wife of Lucas. Olivia’s intriguing past will slowly unfold in the story, at the same time, she will be reborn as Claire, who will be introduced as Philip’s wife.

In addition to the main quartet, the series is littered with some of the industry’s finest thespians including Maila Gumila as the cunning Victoria, Joko Diaz as Doctor Joaquin, and Carla Martinez as the Salazars’ trusted helper Loleng.

Kim Rodriguez wears a feisty attitude as Sophia, “Isa ako sa manggugulo at magbibigay ng sakit sa ulo sa kanilang lahat.” Aya Fernandez portrays Sabrina, an investigative journalist who will uncover the truth beneath the other characters’ deception. Nico Antonio is Emil the best friend of Philip, the voice of reason whenever the seemingly secretive Philip makes a decision.

Also joining the cast are Jeffrey Santos, Richard Quan, Lovely Rivero, William Lorenzo, Jef Gaitan, Elyson De Dios, and Malou Crisologo.

The cast and directors couldn’t wait for the show’s premiere, certain that the viewers will be hooked on the deliciously elaborate saga of love, lies and revenge.

Hindi lang hapon n’yo ang magigising. Lahat ng senses n’yo magigisng dito,” Direk Benedict promised.

Sisiklab na ang giyera sa teleseryeng sagad ang gantihan. Catch the pilot episode of “Nag-Aapoy Na Damdamin,” this July 25, at 3:30 pm, after Pira-Pirasong Paraiso, on Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, TV5, and A2Z.
