People often say that friendships made in high school last forever, enduring through time and all kinds of challenges. No matter where Sky (Andrea Brillantes) goes in life, whether she's feeling happy or facing tough times, whatever season it may be, her loyal friends from Northford High School are always there for her. They provide her with constant support and help whenever she needs it. You can see the strength of their bond by watching these scenes from "High Street" as compiled by Kapamilya Toplist.
The friendships we form during our teenage years are always the best therapy. They're like a safe haven where love can mend even the most broken hearts. That's why, when the struggles of adulthood become overwhelming, Sky turns to her closest friends for comfort. In the first scene in this video montage, we see Sky chatting with Roxy (played by Xyriel Manabat) over coffee, pouring out her worries about wanting to chase her dreams while also dealing with her financial responsibilities to her family. Roxy's words offer both warmth and a dose of practical advice, showing just how valuable true friendship can be.
That am evening, the group of friends gathered to celebrate Sanya (Gela Atayde) and Kenji (Tommy Alejandrino)'s engagement. When Sky's phone went missing, everyone pitched in to help find it, searching every nook and cranny. It looked like high school again when they low-key teased Sky through their suspicious smiles as she unintentionally hugged Gino (Juan Karlos Labajo), who happened to be the one who found her missing phone.
Having great advisors around becomes evident in situations like when Sky and Roxy had a video call, and they talked about the coincidence of Sky and Gino being at the same building for their respective work. True friendship is all about being honest with each other, 'real talk' as they call it, like when Roxy gently corrected Sky's belief that she hadn't moved on, reminding her that there was never an official relationship between her and Gino. In return, Sky offered some straightforward advice to Roxy, jokingly suggesting that Roxy was curious about Z (Daniela Stranner) because she's subtly looking for Z's brother, Archie (Elijah Canlas).
Despite their complicated past, Gino shows he's still a reliable friend to Sky by making sure she stays out of harm's way when she starts getting into trouble in her secret investigations of what's going on with Z. At the time, Sky got extremely worried after she thought she saw Z, despite Z supposedly being in the United States.
Gino did his best to persuade Sky to stop investigating or stalking, not because he was protecting his criminal dad, but because he wanted to keep her away from trouble.
And then the whole gang pitched in to help her with her secret investigations. We adore these group video calls where they act like detectives. Of course, Tim (Zaijian Jaranilla), who's now a police investigator, played a big role in clearing her name when someone hacked her social media accounts to smear her reputation and when someone pushed a statue in a columbarium to put Sky in danger.
Sky insisted that Tim didn't need to get involved if it would jeopardize his job. But still, Tim went out of his way to help by retrieving the CCTV footage, clearly showing someone deliberately pushing the statue from the building's second floor towards Sky, who was standing on the lower floor at the time.
Of course, our "Senior High" fanatic hearts are happy whenever the high school batchmates have these nighttime gatherings, just catching up and discussing important things. For instance, that one time they went out for dinner after work, and Sanya asked Sky to be her maid of honor at her wedding with Kenji.
These moments really show that high school friendships last forever.
