Tonight with Boy Abunda welcomed Maxene Magalona, daughter of the late musician Francis “Francis M” Magalona and known for her roles in popular dramas such as Doble Kara (2015-2017), Dream Dad (2014-2015), Playhouse (2018), and Viral Scandal (2021).

During this interview, Maxene talked about appearing in the romantic comedy Playhouse, starring alongside Angelica Panganiban and Zanjoe Marudo. She played the antagonist, Natalia Corpuz, and admitted to have dreamed of working with the lead actress, Angelica, since her return to ABS-CBN. She told Tito Boy that she did feel a little intimidated acting alongside her for she’s a very brilliant and intense actress, but also noted that she’s a very kind-hearted person; a fact she had known since working with her way back in the early 90s program, “Ang TV”, when they were just 7 years old. She conveyed that she’s very lucky and thankful to have gotten the chance to work with such skillful actors in Playhouse.
