Romcom-drama film “Isa Pa, with Feelings” told the story of a love that finds deep connection even with just the silence of the heart. The movie was top billed by Maine Mendoza who played Mara and heartthrob Carlo Aquino who took on the role of a deaf-mute sign language coach, Gali.

Fans noted from the movie’s official trailer alone that Maine and Carlo’s chemistry was loud even in the most silent scenes. The two first met at the premiere night of the film “Meet Me in St. Gallen” which Carlo starred alongside Bela Padilla. Maine is good friends with “Meet Me in St. Gallen” director Irene Villamor who she tapped to help her request for a photo opportunity with Carlo, her crush.

“I’ve always been a fan of Carlo”, Maine admitted in her first TWBA hot seat interview. In return, Carlo felt flattered with Maine’s revelations. The actor added that he was dumbfounded upon learning about working with Maine in “Isa Pa with Feelings”.

In the September 7 episode of TWBA, Carlo and Maine played the “Isa Pa o Tama Na” Challenge. Carlo is open to having a musical reunion with past bandmates John Prats and Stefano Mori. Meanwhile, Maine would like to experience skydiving again but she would rather say no to another tattoo from National Artist Apo Whang-od. Both Carlo and Maine look forward to another movie team-up.

In the Fast Talk segment, Maine was asked to choose who among Carlo, Alden Richards, and Arjo Atayde as the most handsome guy. Maine opted to go for rumored boyfriend, Arjo. “Too many to mention”, Maine said in jest when asked about the sexiest part of Arjo’s body.

Boy Abunda threw in a hypothetical question, “If this is your last night in the world and Arjo proposes to you, ano ang isasagot mo sa kanya?” The actress boldly replied with a “Yes”.

“I refuse to answer the question,” Maine’s response to the ultimate TWBA question, “Sex or Chocolates?”
