And those who have been avidly following the journey of Jodi Sta. Maria would know how truly dedicated she is as well when it comes to her beloved “Mi Familia”!

In the past years, we’ve witnessed how she’s been truly blessed as she was entrusted to star in various movies and series. And she never forgets to share what she earned from those blessings to her family by taking them on different trips here and abroad, especially her precious unico hijo Thirdy. They seemingly love to travel, and is particularly fond of going to the beach, as seen in their photos included in this gallery.

Despite her hectic schedule, the 40-year-old actress is able to spend quality time with them and make sure to be present in celebrating special occasions and milestones with them. As she and her older brother were singlehandedly raised by their single mother Mercedita, it’s definitely no wonder that they’re able to form a wonderful and unbreakable bond.

In an exclusive interview with veteran Kapamilya broadcast journalist Karen Davila, Jodi disclose that she didn’t have the chance to his father after he left them when their mom was just three to four months pregnant with her. She’s able to find out who he was, but it’s unfortunately too late since he already passed away in 2001.

She may have been tightly bonded with her family, but just like what happened to most of us, the pandemic further made them closer than ever and made her realize that they’re indeed her greatest treasure, as what she imparted during a Magandang Buhay guesting in November 2020.

“No’ng nangyari ‘yong pandemic, nagkaroon ng maraming realization. And siguro, isa do’n ‘yong kung may magpapasaya talaga sa’yo, ‘yon ang mga tao na closest sa’yo, ‘yong mga taong nearest sa’yo. So, lalayo pa ba tayo? Kundi ang pamilya natin, hindi ba?” she told the momshie-hosts when asked what or who makes her and her Ang Sa Iyo Ay Sa Akin co-star Iza Calzado happy.

Then she added, “I know naman that I love them so much, pero the situation revealed na sila pala talaga ‘yong treasure na buhay ko, most especially si Thirdy.”

Attesting to that was one of the captions she attached to one of their lovely family pictures that she posted last year, which said, “It is not what we have in life that is important, but who we have in life that matters (heart emoji)”.
