At 22, Vivoree Esclito dares to go beyond her comfort zone. But she follows some rules to determine just how far she should go. Find out what these rules are, in this episode of Kapamilya Chat!

Vivoree took on the “My Rules” Challenge wherein she reveals her non-negotiable on specific things.

First, when it comes to curfew, she makes sure to prioritize rest over unnecessary affairs. Although she has no specific hours to follow, she prefers to come home early to have enough time off. “As an introvert, kailangan ko talaga ng time na makapag-recharge para kinabukasan I’ll feel like a brand new person and ready na ulit ako to start the day.”

On shopping, Vivoree says she used to deprive herself of her wants. Now her mindset is more of the ‘deserve mentality’ or rewarding herself with purchases – as long as it’s worth it, “Basta magagamit ko ‘yung bibilhin ko, makakain ko ‘yung bibilhin ko, and worth it ‘yung mga binibili ko, okay, go, shop ka.” Of course, she still limits her budget. Sometimes she prefers to shop with a companion who can stop her urge to buy non-essentials or something she will rarely use.

A low-maintenance friend, her only rule about friendships is they must be authentic. “I want us to be there for each other. Basta gusto ko lang talaga na genuine ‘yung friendship namin, walang halong kaplastikan, walang halong inggit, puro good vibes lang.” While she understands that friendship drama is inevitable, she also believes that real connections will never be destroyed by petty misunderstandings.

Previously closed-minded about tattoos, Vivoree is now open to getting inked. There’s a rule though: “Kung magpapa-tattoo man ako, dapat may meaning talaga. Ayaw kong magpa-tattoo nang basta-basta lang kasi permanent na talaga ‘yung tattoo, so sulitin mo na. Dapat meaningful at worth it.”

She also has a rule when it comes to piercings. She would only go for piercings on the outer part of the ear.
