Simply gorgeous in her white OOTD, Vivoree opened this episode of Kapamilya Chat by serenading everyone with her sweet vocals. She performed her newest single “Dalawang Isip,” which tells the complicated push-and-pull in a relationship, the confusing feeling between wanting to fight and let go.

“Magpapaalam ka sa isang tao pero mahal mo pa rin siya,” she said, certain that the lyrics will resonate with listeners. The song was written by Danielle Balagtas, who also composed Vivoree’s previous track, “Matapang."

Vivoree wants every song in her EP (Extended Playlist) to exude a different mood and theme, thus she only records one track per session. That way, she could focus on the particular song’s emotions. She’s glad that her team helps her dissect the ‘feels’ and message infused in every line.

“'Yung song nagla-last lang siya ng mga 3 to 4 minutes. Pero 'yung recording session, talagang matagal kasi may mga layers pa and, siyempre, you have to take it over and over again 'pag feeling mo you have to do something about it… It took us around 3 to 4 hours per song,” she revealed.

In the music video of “Dalawang Isip”, Vivoree is reunited with Brent Manalo, who was also her leading man in “Matapang.” She said they wanted to sustain the theme of the entire EP (Extended Playlist), thus Brent reappeared in her second music video. She couldn’t go into the details yet, but by the sounds of it, ViBrent shippers would love how the next chapters of the EP would unfold.

“'Yung character ko kasi dito is a librarian. Frustrated writer siya, so nu’ng nakita niya si Brent, doon siya na-inspire to write the book "Matapang,” she further described the connection of the two music videos.

As Vivoree’s EP slowly unfolds, her friendship with Brent also deepens, unlike their first time working together when they would feel awkward and shy. “'Yung friendship namin is different na from before kasi nagkakausap na kami, nagkakasama na sa events. So, 'yung friendship namin is getting stronger each time,” she divulged.

ViBrent shippers are over the moon with the development of Vivoree and Brent’s closeness. One even noted that Vivoree is the only girl seen on Brent’s Instagram feed as he only posts photos of himself and aesthetic places. A quick scroll on Brent’s IG page will take you to a photo of him and Vivoree from the Star Magical Prom. Though she downplayed the comment, saying she isn’t the first girl he posted, only she’s seen on the first slide of photos. Still, it makes her special, “Nakakatuwa siyempre kasi initiative niya ‘yun.”

Asked how she would describe Brent as a friend, she replied, “He is chill. Kahit anong situation, hindi mo siya nakikitang natataranta. He keeps his cool lang all the time.” She, on the other hand, is more expressive. She isn’t scared to tell people that she’s nervous or whatever she’s feeling. But she’s also learning to appear more relaxed in tense situations.

In real life, Vivoree thinks twice before making a decision. “Iniisip ko muna 'yung pros and cons kasi mahirap na 'pag may nadadamay na ibang tao. Most of my decisions pinag-iisipan ko nang mabuti, nagdadalawang-isip talaga ako,” she related. But in terms of career, Vivoree is not in a place of “pagdadalawang-isip.” She’s certain of what she wants to pursue and how to get there, “Lahat ng blessings, projects, o opportunities na dumadating sa life ko, talagang go lang ako, push lang ako as long as it’s good for my career and matutuwa 'yung mga supporters ko.”

When it comes to accepting suitors, though, Vivoree is much careful, “Nagdadalawang-isip talaga ako kasi, siyempre, mahirap na magpapasok ng tao sa buhay mo tapos sisirain niya lang ‘yung buhay mo.” Though she understands that some things, especially about love, are beyond her control, she would instead control how she reacts to every situation.

When asked if she has “pagdadalawang-isip” about Brent, she laughed before saying, “As a friend, siyempre hindi.” She shared that Brent was her first choice as a leading man for her music videos after they have worked together in “Star Magic Hot Summer in Baler."

“As in wala talagang pagdadalawang-isip na siya 'yung choice ko bilang leading man. And 'yun din naman 'yung gusto ng management, so, why not, 'di ba? Even sa ‘Dalawang Isip’ na music video, wala talagang pagdadalawang-isip na siya ‘yung leading man.”

Before the interview ends, Vivoree expressed her love and gratitude for all ViBrent fans who keep on supporting them whether individually or as a love team. “I feel very blessed with them kasi 'yung support nila talagang mafe-feel mo na special ka. Ano bang ginawa ko sa past life ko para ma-deserve 'yung ganu’ng klaseng support nila. Nakakatuwa sila at saka nakaka-proud sila super.” She turned to the camera, “I love you, guys, thank you so much for the hard work.”
