Francine Diaz had the chance to catch up with Kaye Abad and their conversation went from ‘buhay-probinsya’ to finding real purpose in showbiz and embracing self-love.

In a YouTube vlog, Francine interviewed Kaye while enjoying famous Cebu delicacies mukbang style. First, they went through the spread that included food commonly sold in ‘pungko-pungko’ or street stalls in Cebu. Of course, Lechon de Cebu, Kaye’s favorite Cebuano dish, had to be present on the table. “Ang lechon sa Manila, matabang, lalagyan mo pa ng sarsa. Dito, ang lechon dito hindi na kailangan ng sauce,” explained Kaye, who made the province her home after marrying Cebu-based businessman and former Pinoy Big Brother housemate Paul Jake Castillo in 2016.

Kaye, now a mom of two – Joaquin, 4 and Iñigo, 6 months – has pretty much adjusted to her new life in Cebu. Besides, buhay-probinsya is nothing new to her since she was formerly based in Imus, Cavite.
