Only a few days after she was hailed as Pinoy Big Brother Kumunity Season 10 Top 2 alongside Alyssa Valdez, the “The Singing Sweetheart of Siargao” Anji Salvacion graced the first-ever live episode of Hotspot for 2022 on Thursday, January 6, wherein she talked about her experiences and learnings in the reality show, as well as took on the fun “Bukingan Challenge”.

DJ Jhai Ho’s chikahan with Anji commenced with a brief kumustahan, wherein he congratulated her for being hailed as one of the Top 2 winners of the celebrity edition of the ongoing season.

When asked how did she feel when her name was called as one of the Top 2 winners, she imparted that she was actually shocked since she didn’t expect, although she was hoping to be the Big Winner. She’s also grateful and blessed for this feat as it makes her feel that there is a reason why she’s at her current position.

With regards to how she was able to come up with the decision to join PBB, the 19-year-old up-and-coming artist disclosed that it had actually been her dream to be part of it and break into the local entertainment scene.

She said, “…It’s not all about din na may matatanggap ako, but may matutunan din ako sa bahay ni Kuya. Ito pa ‘yong mas maganda, ang dami-dami kong natutunan doon. And I am just so blessed na, grabe, hindi selfish si Kuya sa mga advices, ‘yong mga task hindi nag-fail na may matutunan ka talaga. Saka ‘yong mga housemates ‘di rin sila na nagging selfish na mag-share, but they’re so generous to share advices to me.”

She admitted feeling initially frightened upon joining PBB since she wasn’t sure if anyone from her housemates would accept her. But she’s happy that many of them were able to understand – and even join – her quirks. And it taught her to open up and to just be herself.

As DJ Jhai Ho veered their conversation to the Kapamilya talents she looks forward to work with, Anji said that it would be Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil since she’s a huge fan of their team-up and she would want to learn from them and personally witness how they work.

Meanwhile, with regards to her dream project, she expressed her deep interest to take part in a teleserye and work alongside the veteran and seasoned thespians in the country. She also manifests to have her own concert, since it has been her aspiration to perform in front of a lot of people and at a huge venue.

She also enthusiastically took on the “Bukingan Challenge”, wherein she disclosed who among her ex-housemates were being described by the items given by DJ Jhai Ho. She named Albie Casiño, Alyssa Valdez, and Kyle Echarri as those who are “work out is life,” while Brenda Mage is the one who seemed to never run out of energy. For the ones who are always armed with words of wisdom, they are Alyssa, Samantha Bernardo, and Albie, and it was Alyssa to whom she got starstruck with upon entering the house since she is her idol.
