Trending series “Senior High” depicts how the most powerful people have secrets that they hope to take to their graves. They may have all the material things but that doesn’t mean they live a peaceful life.

Case in point: the Acosta family. They live inside a luxurious house, drive expensive cars, and have elite affiliations. They are so crazy rich that they can buy anything – or anyone.

But there really is a certain price to pay for being influential. Because beneath their wealth, their family is also full of drama and mystery and secrets, all because of their patriarch, Governor William Acosta (Mon Confiado). He wears a deceptive mask of goodness and virtue, but is actually twisted and horrifying when no one is looking. He’s the kind of villain who can send shivers down our spine. Check out his vicious scenes via this Kapamilya Toplist video.

The first scene reveals how William uses gaslighting as his weapon, as he dismissed the opinion of Lydia (Sylvia Sanchez), Northford High’s lady guard, who questioned the investigations on Luna (Andrea Brillantes)’s death which the cops declared as suicide. In front of the campus’ prominent individuals, he made Lydia feel bad by telling her that Luna’s death could’ve been prevented had she fulfilled her duties diligently.

At home, he is a real monster who explodes at the slightest offense. William considers Gino (Juan Karlos Labajo)’s dream to pursue music a major sin, thinking that his passion for music will only drag him to a troublesome direction. He was also quick to judge when Gino’s best friend, Archie (Elijah Canlas), was caught using drugs, convinced that Gino is into drugs as well despite the latter’s explanation.

Don’t be fooled by his virtuous facade, as William wouldn’t even bat an eyelash and will immediately kill those who disobey his orders, even if it’s his own son and wife. One of thee most brutal things he did was get physical with his family, almost killing Gino in one scene as the latter had enough of his dad’s disgusting evil deeds.

William is a monster, especially to his meek and faithful wife Cecille (Ana Abad-Santos). There was a time when Cecille shook in fear after William found out that she helped Luna’s twin sister, Sky (Andrea Brillantes), settle her tuition fee balance through the alumni association. She wasn’t able to escape his explosion. She let him push her down and wrap his hands around her throat. She tried to explain herself, her voice cracking in fear, but only to succumb to the inevitable disaster.

And until the very end when Cecille finally had the guts to defy his orders, William resorted to gaslighting. Almost strangling her to death, he told her to clean up the mess and make sure Gino no longer adds fuel to the fire as people at Northford High was then beginning to question their family’s reputation. And when confronted by Gino, we bet you clinched your fist in anger as William manipulated his son into believing that he only wants to save them from their lapses and give them a decent name.

Just when we thought his crimes end with domestic abuse, William proved that he is so much more twisted as the narrative revealed his true intentions for taking Poch (Miggy Jimenez) in his mansion. He sexually abuses Poch, taking advantage of the senior high student’s financial needs. Viewers were shocked as William refused to let go of Poch and doubled his felony by beating him up after using him sexually, and then issued a bloodcurdling warning.

What else would William do to prove his power and villainy? Don’t miss the last few episodes of Senior High, weeknights, on Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, TV5, and A2Z.
