Miggy Jimenez It’s Me High

While he’s been in the local entertainment scene since he was a kid, Miggy Jimenez is probably new to the eyes of many avid Kapamilya viewers. And he made sure to make a lasting impression and to have us wishing to see him more onscreen through his remarkable portrayal of Poch in the controversial series Senior High.

And as we’re about to bid farewell to him and the rest of the gang in a few days, let’s get to know him a bit more as he reveals things or traits that make him high in this “It’s Me, High!” feature.

Starting off with what makes him emotionally high, Miggy imparts that it’s whenever he is working out and working on the set since the former pushes him to be physically active, while the latter makes him emotionally and mentally active. Meanwhile, he is actively high when he does things that cater to his mental health or, in other words, taking care of himself, whereas appreciating and complementing himself is his natural high.

With regard to kind of person that highly impresses him, he relates that it would be someone who’s down-to-earth and respectful to everyone regardless of who they are. On the other hand, disrespectful people upset him so much.

Miggy also discloses how important it is to him to have a self-pep talk first before opening up about his personal struggles or the decisions that he has to make to other people.

Since he has been in showbiz ever since he was a kid, he has learned to handle pressure well and even consider it as a “privilege.” He also admits how the high expectations of the society greatly affects him, especially whenever he overthinks about them too much.

Lastly, his high hopes for his family is for them to have good health. For himself and his career, meanwhile, he wishes nothing but to attain genuine happiness and to become a character actor who can take on roles with different layers – just like Poch.

Catch Miggy on Senior High, weeknights on Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, A2Z, and TV5.
