With true-to-life admiration for each other, amazing talent, and destiny playing a part, KD Estrada and Alexa Ilacad make their loveteam work in wondrous ways. Their chemistry is on full display in Pira-Pirasong Paraiso, which is their first TV series together, making this feat extra kilig to them and their avid supporters called sweethearts.
Their charming interactions as Elon and Angela/Beth serve as breather from the intense drama surrounding the narrative. So, calling all KDLex shippers and Pira-Pirasong Paraiso fans, here are the pair’s most kilig moments on the show compiled in a Kapamilya Toplist video.
Enough of those frustrating slow-burn romances, Elon and Angela’s love story moved fast thanks to his straightforward ligaw style. It was a case of attraction at first sight for him, and he made sure to let her know. In turn, she giddily accepted his friendship with a secret motive to use him to get near his stepmom Diana (Charlie Dizon). “It was very nice to meet you,” she gushed, thinking that she’s found exactly what and who she needs to silently trouble Diana, who would turn out to be her long-lost sister.
Elon didn’t mind putting in the effort to help Angela with her feature story about the Paraiso sisters. He even applied as an intern at the same news station where she works, obviously, because he wanted to see her more often. Nothing beats the kilig of being beside your crush the whole day, right? You just love every minute of it despite the pressure and stress at work. We saw how happy Elon was when Angela accepted his lunch date invite and when she promised to treat him to coffee as a token of appreciation.
“Napakabilis mo naman talaga ‘no?” We ran out of air when they attended a party in the La Madrid mansion. He introduced her to his mom, Jacinda (Snooky Serna), whose meticulous taste Angela satisfied with ease. How cute is it that he randomly asked her to a dance.
Slowly, he broke down her walls without her even noticing. The fearless Angela would turn soft as she confides in Elon about her longing for her parents, whom she only has little memories of as they died when she was a kid. Butterflies soared when he said that he thinks her parents are smart and brave because that’s who she is. A guy who sees the good in you beneath your strong facade? A walking green flag.
He further proved how invested he was by not leaving Angela’s side after a life-threatening incident. He insisted on watching over her that night. But since she refused, he just made sure not to leave until she was feeling better.
The revelation about Angela’s true identity as Beth and her plan to take revenge on her sister Diana due to their embittered past would create little cracks in her friendship with Elon. The panunuyo was a real challenge, but given Angela’s fierce attitude, she would never give up until she repairs their relationship by earning his forgiveness. From his POV, Elon makes their little conversations so cute by acting like he couldn’t care less about Angela’s feelings, yet he can’t hide the look of love in his eyes whenever she's in front of him.
Thankfully, they didn’t torture our hearts that much. Obviously, they couldn’t resist each other. In a scene, Angela congratulated Elon for his news report, and he replied with so much warmth it melted our hearts. Then he said that he learned a lot from his good boss.
It didn’t take long before they were back on good terms. They joined forces anew, this time, in investigating the robbery incident in Jacinda’s house which Angela, Diana, and Baby (Loisa Andalio) connect to Hilary (Elisse Joson).
Tension has eased, closeness has been revived. Elon and Angela are surely serving up more kilig moments in the coming days. So, don’t miss an episode of Pira-Pirasong Paraiso, Mondays to Fridays at 3 p.m., and Saturdays at 2:30 p.m., on Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, TV5, and A2Z.
