“d4vd thrives on subverting expectations and rewriting the rulebook, one DIY hit at a time”

“part of the next generation of savvy superstars”

“primed to be one the biggest breakout acts this year”

“A very contemporary kind of budding star”

Stardom sits beautifully on d4vd’s skin, as his melancholic ballads go from being recorded in his sister’s closet to being shouted back at him by a sea of fans.”

Genre-defying multi-hyphenate d4vd recently announced select tour dates across Southeast Asia. It marks his first-ever run of shows in the region where he’ll perform in cities including Jakarta, Singapore, and Tokyo. He will make his way to Manila this Dec. 4 at New Frontier Theater.

The announcement follows a successful several months of live performances for d4vd and a recently announced special guest slot on SZA’s S.O.S. North American Tour. d4vd’s debut headline ‘The Root of It All’ tour earlier this year—which sold out within 30 minutes of going on sale— first brought his music to life. d4vd then embarked on a follow-up Petals to Thorns US & European summer run which also sold out entirely and took on larger venues, including three nights in New York at Music Hall of Williamsburg and Racket as well as two nights at El Rey Theatre in Los Angeles. The ‘Petals To Thorns’ tour made stops in major cities including London, Paris, Berlin, his hometown of Houston, San Francisco, and Milan, where he also notably performed the same day during the entirety of Valentino’s Milan Fashion Week Show (read more via Vogue HERE).

Following the release of his debut Petals to Thorns EP in May, d4vd complements the project with a follow-up EP, The Lost Petals. The recently-announced project is a collection of five songs that fit in the world of and serve as a continuation of his debut EP. These songs represent a similar time in d4vd's creative process that he wants to share with fans before moving into his next phase of music. Pre-save The Lost Petals EP HERE. Petals to Thorns was released this 2023, and yet, it has two viral tracks that are within striking distance of hitting 1 billion Spotify streams before the year ends: "Here with Me" and "Romantic Homicide".

The first offering from the project “Notes From A Wrist” was released last week alongside a visualizer directed by Erik Rojas.

d4vd, born David Burke, emerged as a visionary artist only one year after he beganwriting and recording heart-piercing tracks alone in his sister's closet in Houston,Texas. d4vd gained his now-eclectic taste in rap and indie music from internet wormholes and fan-made Fortnite videos on YouTube, which he also started creating as a homeschooled teenager. He’s released a smattering of singlestouching everything from indie-alternative to pop to R&B, and the 18-year-old scored a breakout hit in summer 2022 with the RIAA Platinum certified melancholic indierock song “Romantic Homicide.” Recorded entirely on an iPhone, the track reached No. 34 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, and led to him signing to Darkroom/Interscope before d4vd even graduated high school.

His slow-building beachy ballad, “Here With Me” followed suit, breaking into the Billboard Hot 100 in January 2023 and quickly becoming RIAA Gold Certified. Petals to Thorns, d4vd’s debut EP establishes him as a genre-defying newcomer. The EP establishes d4vd as one of the best new emerging acts, corroborated by his recent Billboard 21 Under 21 honor.
