Just on its title, we can already anticipate that Nag-aapoy na Damdamin will surely fire up our afternoon viewing. The series immediately took our breaths away as its first week commenced with a scene at the operating room, wherein Richard Quan’s character Congressman Javier Buencamino undergoes pancreatic surgery led by Dr. Severino Salazar (Jeffrey Santos).

All the anxieties of his wife Victoria (Maila Gumila) and son Lucas (Tony Labrusca) instantly quelled as soon as Severino told them that the operation was successful, even though it was revealed during a prior conversation of Severino and Javier that he only has 1% chance of survival due to how complicated the process would be.

This infuriated them, with Victoria quickly heading to the hospital to talk to her husband.
As they’re already looking forward to Javier being discharged, Lucas and Victoria found out that he made a few changes in his last will and testament a few days before his operation, stating that he would donate 15% of his assets to the hospital of Severino and Joaquin (Joko Diaz).
