Momshie Melai Cantiveros believes that her being part of ABS-CBN’s longest-running morning talk show “Magandang Buhay” is destined. She thinks that God put her in this path to help her make sound decisions both as a mother and a woman.

“Dahil sa ‘Magandang Buhay,’ maayos ang pag-iisip ko na makapili ng desisyon dahil sa mga experiences ng mga tinatanong namin everyday,” expressed Melai in this episode of Kapamilya Chat. She added, “Lalo na ‘yung grabe ‘yung pinagdaanan pero nanatili pa rin ‘yung pagmamahalan, grabe ‘yung pinagdaanan pero nanatili pa ring matapang at hindi sumuko. ‘Pag ganu’n ang na-i-interview namin, excited na ulit akong lumaban, excited na ulit akong umuwi sa pamilya ko.” These lessons from their guests are priceless gems that leave a lasting impact in her life.

When asked the most unforgettable guest they had on the show, she thought of Donny Pangilinan. She recalls that Donny first appeared on the program as a shy young man, merely introduced as the “son” of Maricel Laxa and Anthony Pangilinan. He was even unsure of pursuing showbiz at the time, that’s why she’s proud of him for achieving stardom.

“Parang step one niya kami sa ‘Magandang Buhay,’ eh. Kaya very proud ako sa kanya kung anuman ang nangyari sa ‘Can’t Buy Me Love’ dahil deserve na deserve niya,” shared Melai.

This ‘momshie’ is known for being the lively one in the show. Asked how she maintains her energy, she said that it’s something she’s possessed since childhood.

In the latter part of the segment, Melai entertained some questions from fans submitted via the Super Kapamilya YouTube community. One follower asked her about the most rewarding thing as a mom. Melai expressed that she finds fulfilment when her kids seek her comfort and give her sweet hugs.
