Avid television viewers in the early 2000s would probably remember her as the girl whose face we almost couldn’t see as half of it was covered with bangs in the youth-oriented sitcoms “Let’s Go” and “Go Kada Go”. We then witnessed her bloom into becoming one of the talented actresses of her generation, especially when she starred in the 2012 soap opera “Kung Ako’y Iiwan Mo”.

And now, actress Bangs Garcia is enjoying her life as a dutiful wife to her Filipino-British husband Lloyd Birchmore and a hands-on mom to their two adorable children Amelia and Isabella, as seen in the snaps and clips that she posts on social media, as well as in the vlogs that she uploads on her official YouTube channel.

Bangs, whose real name is Valerie, got married to Lloyd around five years ago, not just once, but thrice! In an Instagram post last January to mark their fifth anniversary as a married couple, she fondly reminisced about their journey “since crossing paths in Boracay once upon a time.” She also mentioned celebrating their civil wedding anniversary in September 2021 and their church and beach nuptials anniversaries last January, just a few days apart.

Ever since she became Mrs. Birchmore, she seemingly chose to completely settle down and focus on taking good care of their now growing family. They’ve been living in United Kingdom over the past years, but she and their two daughters flew to Manila last March to go on a vacation, visit her family that she had not seen for a long time, and to attend the wedding of one of her friends in Bohol.

She also graced an episode of Magandang Buhay, wherein she fondly talked about her life in UK with her family. When asked how she and Lloyd are able to juggle their time as parents and partners, the 35-year-old proud housewife imparted that she would always make sure to prepare food for him and clean their house before he gets home from work.

But even though Lloyd has work, she revealed admiring how domesticated he is, as he tends to still help out in household chores. In fact, he put himself in charge of cleaning their bathroom. She also appreciates his being thoughtful and understanding as he would takeaway, or order food from a restaurant, on days that she’s too stressed and tired in taking good care of their two kids and doing household chores at the same time.

We may not see her on television now as she’s now a devoted housewife living in UK, but Bangs is still able to give her supporters update about her latest ganaps in life through social media and her very own YouTube channel.
