In this episode, Pops Fernandez shares her motivation for going back to the concert scene and expresses her excitement about being a new grandma. The second segment features food vlogger Ninong Ry, who recounts the beginnings of his passion for cooking and content creation.

A new chapter begins for Pops, the country’s Concert Queen, as she overcomes her struggle with waning confidence, now finding the motivation to create new music and perform on stage once more. Having supportive peers, including Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez, has helped her rekindle her musical prowess as well.

She’s also overflowing with joy now that a new angel has arrived in their family, her first grandchild, courtesy of her eldest son, Robin. Find out what she feels about officially being called Lolly Pops!

Pops’ story will sure inspire women, especially those in her age group, who may be struggling with getting their confidence back. She underscores that she’d rather seize the moment than have regrets later on.

From the music scene, we go next to the kitchen where Ninoy Ry is making a name for himself as one of today’s most beloved food vloggers. His story is also about taking risks and following one’s passion.

Ninong Ry mentions that he used to work as a restaurant chef before taking over their ‘manukan’ business in the market following his father’s passing. His dad was his greatest influence, having sharpened his culinary skills by acting as his dad’s little kitchen assistant during his childhood.

Amidst the uncertainties during the pandemic and thinking of ways to pay his debt, he ventured into content creation. Little did he know that his leap of faith would yield rewards far beyond his expectations. Through vlogging, he not only found success but also met the love of his life, and now, he’s on the way to becoming a ‘papshie’.
