In this fickle place called showbiz, comedians have it tough. They’re expected to crack jokes about everything, but behind the scenes, they’ve got real challenges to deal with. So how do they manage to find lasting friendships in this rollercoaster ride of an industry? Bayani Agbayani and Long Mejia share their POV in this episode of "Magandang Buhay: The Podcast."

Friendship is more than just laughter. Even if they don't always hang out, or even outside their work as “I Can See Your Voice” singvestigators, Bayani and Long are always there for each other. They're the type to shoot a quick call, whether it's just to chat about what's for dinner or to talk about serious family matters. Their friendship might seem unusual, but it's got that classic barkada vibe. Long looks up to Bayani, especially admiring his role as a family man. And he isn’t shy to ask for advice from him.

From banter to heart-to-heart! You have probably seen them on "I Can See Your Voice" joking around and having a blast. But when the cameras stop rolling, it's all heart-to-heart talks, especially about family. Sometimes they even find themselves getting emotional in their conversations, and they believe that’s totally okay. Guys need to express their emotions, and these two aren't afraid to do just that.

Despite their comedic personas on screen, they approach their friendship with sincerity and honesty. They make sure to correct each other’s mistakes as it makes the other person grow, but they do so discreetly to not embarrass the other.

In this episode, Bayani and Long take us back to their beginnings as comedians. Long knew he had a knack for comedy from a young age when he noticed people would laugh at his punchlines, while Bayani was his family and friends’ clown. One classmate suggested he become a comedian, and much to his surprise, it happened.

These men believe that comedy isn’t just a skill; it’s something you're born with, something that's ingrained in your heart. If you aspire to follow in their footsteps, you wouldn’t want to miss this episode as Bayani and Long offer some pieces of advice on how to become an effective comedian!
