Kaila Estrada gave us real love talk as she took on Kapamilya Chat’s “Red or Green Flag” Challenge.

In the game, Kaila will raise either a green or red flag depending on her opinion about specific relationship scenarios.

The first question was about asking for passwords – a red flag for the actress. She understands that one tends to carry trust issues into a new relationship but asking for passwords is a bit extreme and not the best solution, “I feel like it can be solved by maybe just being more reassuring. Hindi na kailangan umabot sa password.”

What if the partner shows up at your workplace unannounced? It depends on the intention, according to Kaila, “If nag-show up siya, for example, sa birthday ko tapos sinurprise niya ako sa work, eh ‘di okay lang. Pero, example, nag-show up siya kasi protective siya o nagseselos, parang no.”

Asked her opinion on splitting the bill on the first date, she thought whoever asked for the date should pay, regardless of gender. Then, the pair can eventually split the bill because “equality” is important in a relationship.

A green flag for Kaila is when the person remembers even the littlest detail about her. When you truly love someone, you remember even the smallest thing they said or did, right? That’s one way Kaila knows she is falling in love. Aww.

Talking about exes is a no-no for Kaila. While getting to know each other’s dating history is acceptable, eventually it also gets uncomfortable. “I don’t want to bring old issues into a new, healthy relationship.” So, as Kaila said, stop talking about exes to avoid comparisons and overthinking.

When the person tends to pivot the topic to themselves, Kaila thought it could be a red flag depending on the purpose of the conversation. Sometimes one just needs somebody to vent out to, “somebody to listen to you and not really give you any kind of advice.” Personally, the bashful Kaila thinks she is a better listener than a talker, “I won’t really talk about myself talaga unless you ask me.” So, it’s a big deal when she opens up and relates to the other person’s experiences.

She raised the red flag when asked her thoughts about a manipulative person, “I think it’s important to be honest with each other. There’s no need to manipulate kasi yung word mismo na yun, you’re trying to control somebody when that person has their own mind.”

Does a cheater deserve a second chance? She believes so “for as long as you are committed to changing, for as long as you really want to change.” However, she pressed that it is important to gauge oneself “kasi lahat tayo may hangganan,” meaning once is enough, twice is too much – you know what they say.

The last question is about liking photos on social media. It’s neither a green nor a red flag but basically acceptable for Kaila. It only becomes a red flag when the heart ‘reax’ eventually slides into DMs.
