In this interview, she expressed her interest in making movies and teleseryes after MMK, which will air its final episode this December 10. “Kung may dumating na magandang role, why not?” she enthused. To recall, she was last seen in a series via Coco Martin’s FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.

Currently, she is dubbing MMK episodes into English for the program’s airing in 41 different countries in South Africa in 2023.

“Binili ng South Africa... Sana magustuhan din ng audience sa South Africa. At saka I’m sure ‘yung mga Filipinos, ‘yung mga kabababayan natin na nasa Africa, meron na naman silang programa na sasalamin sa kanilang buhay,” she calls this an achievement and something truly “nakaka-proud.”

The actress-executive is aware of the overwhelming feeling of sadness from fans, who have expressed their appreciation for the show. It only affirms the impact that MMK will leave on viewers. With that, she is sincerely grateful, “What can I say? I can only say thank you. Thank you very much for all the years that they have supported Maalaala Mo Kaya.”

She added, “I have a grateful heart na naka-contribute naman ang Maalaala Mo Kaya sa larangan ng entertainment, sa pagdadala ng magagandang kwento na puno ng aral, ng pag-asa. It also presented a slice of life to the Filipinos. Ang daming aral na dinala… Nakakatuwa ‘pag nababsa ko ‘yung mga comments ng fans sa social media.”
