She also starred in movies that included the action-drama film “Anak ni Baby Ama” and the sexy comedy “Flavor of the Month.” Apart from her showbiz career, Amy also emerged as a dependable current affairs personality with the service-oriented show Kabuhayang Swak ng Swak, the morning program Umagang Kay Ganda, and her public service-focused radio shows. She also worked as a DJ for the Kapamilya FM radio station 101.9 Radio Romance (now MOR).
