Veteran actress, host, and radio presenter Amy Perez, or more commonly known as “Tyang Amy” in It’s Showtime, still possesses the beauty that we have always seen with her. Even though decades have passed since she started her career in showbiz, she is still that same stunning and strong woman that we have known. She likewise became part of the hit noontime show Magandang Tanghali Bayan. Amy has since become a hosting luminary that included stints in the talk show MRS and the game show The Singing Bee. As she had been known as a prolific host, Amy also appeared in TV dramas and teleseryes, such Sa Dulo Ng Walang Hanggan, Gulong Ng Palad, and Only You, and, of course, in the iconic sitcom Palibhasa Lalake. She also starred in movies that included the action-drama film “Anak ni Baby Ama” and the sexy comedy “Flavor of the Month.” Apart from her showbiz career, Amy also emerged as a dependable current affairs personality with the service-oriented show Kabuhayang Swak ng Swak, the morning program Umagang Kay Ganda, and her public service-focused radio shows. She also worked as a DJ for the Kapamilya FM radio station 101.9 Radio Romance (now MOR).
