She is undoubtedly one of the most in-demand leading ladies, television hosts, and product and brand endorsers in the entertainment industry at present. Ever since Kim Chiu entered the world of show business through reality show Pinoy Big Brother in 2006, she has easily won over the hearts of many Kapamilyas, which ensued to her being hailed as the Big Winner of Teen Edition 1.
From then on, fans have continued to follow and support the Chinita Princess. She earned one lead role after another – both on the small and big screen – and even dominates the ASAP Natin ‘To stage every Sunday by giving us some memorable performances. Besides, she’s also able to produce several songs that unbelievably became hits and currently blesses us with her everyday TV presence via her hosting stints in It’s Showtime and PBB Kumunity Season 10.
With how an ultimate multi-hyphenate she is, there’s definitely a great reason for aspiring artists to look up to her and be inspired at how far her journey has reached.
But more than the many hats she wears as an artist, the most important and, arguably, most fulfilling roles she play are in real-life – being the sweetest daughter, sister, and aunt to her ever-beloved family.
Amidst all the fame and fortune, Kim not once forgot her roots. The photos in this gallery alone are enough proof that despite her busy schedule, she always gives back to her family by making sure to spend quality time with them.
From Christmas to birthdays, she tries to be present in all the big occasions. Being a celebrity with fans not just here in the Philippines, she has also gotten a chance to travel around the world. However, some trips are meant to be shared with your loved ones – and that is what she did, like when they visited Hong Kong and stopped by Disneyland in 2019. But nothing beats home, where she once bonded with her niece by making some slime.
And recently, the Chiu siblings finally had the rare chance to be complete as her younger brother John Paul, who now works as a pilot and currently based in Canada, went back to the Philippines to visit them after eight years and to celebrate her birthday as well.
Overjoyed, Kim wrote in the caption of one of their lovely group photos, “Never felt this complete. the last time I remembered na kumpleto kami was when my mama died, ngayon lang kami nabuo kasama si papa in one photo. When we were talking about our younger years.., what a life it has been. It helped us become who we are now, from walang matirhan, walang pang tuition, walang pagkain, nag aagawan pa sa ulam, sa damit, sa school things, and a lot more!!!! Looking back nag aasaran kami now na naluluha na natatawa. Hahhaa It feels amazing! LIFE IS INDEED FULL OF SURPRISES!!! LIFE IS CRAZY BEAUTIFUL! I am thankful for the gift of family that I have. I have my best friends, sibs, and people who will love me and support me no matter what. [sic]”
Without a doubt, with them serving as her inspiration, she will be able to do anything. Check out this gallery of Kim and rest of the Chiu clan, then go and spend some quality time with your own family!
