Her mom actually named her as such, given her features akin to the world-famous doll—fair skin, slim physique, and a very pretty face. And in her rise in the limelight, Barbie was noticed for not only her gorgeous looks but for her promising talent as well in her appearances on MMK and Wansapanataym, and in 2018, her breakthrough came. She got her biggest break as the leading lady of a comebacking JM de Guzman in Precious Hearts Romances Presents Araw Gabi.

In the drama, she proved her worth as an actress, playing the central character Michelle “Mich” Verano/Anna Vida de Alegre and an eye-catching damsel viewers adored.

Now, a month after Araw Gabi concluded, Barbie is back to now topbill Wansapanataym Presents: Switch Be with You, as the lead character Pia Versoza, a vain and conceited girl who magically switched identities with a simple carwash girl Upeng (Chai Fonacier) to learn the true value of beauty.
