It seems the It’s Showtime hosts have discovered a new ‘love team’ in their group – all for fun to delight the madlang people. We’re talking about Jhong Hilario and Lassy, who entertain the crowd with their playful banters dabbed with Lassy’s real-life ‘feelings’ for the Sample King.

It was Vice Ganda who first hinted at Lassy’s ‘namumuong’ feelings for Jhong. He said Lassy might text him again after watching Jhong set the stage on fire with his suave dance sample in that episode. Lassy was just caught smiling.

None other than Vice leads the pack in teasing the two. There was one time he joked about Lassy's special skill: “magtago ng damdamin sa co-host.” It wasn’t hard to notice that Lassy felt kilig, prompting Vice to joke, “Kung maka-emote ka akala mo pretty ka!?” But, Lassy denied the ‘taguan’ part and boldly admitted that he’s actually letting his emotions show. MC Muah reacted, “Wow! Parang umaasa!”

How sad does your day go when your crush is absent from school or work? That’s what we’re reminded of when Vice revealed that Lassy didn’t want to skip work despite leaving their movie set at morning on that same day just because he will miss Jhong. “Thank you Lassy, ah. Mami-miss mo pala ako,” said Jhong, to which Lassy lovingly replied, “Sobra, Jhong.”

And it seems Vice has found the perfect theme song for them: “The Lazy Song” by Bruno Mars. Insert the constant monkey jokes.

Lassy eventually learned to ride on the gregarious banters about their love team. In an episode, he candidly told Jhong that he missed him and he wants to cuddle him. Of course, he did not waste his chance on giving him a hug.

Laughing out loud, we launch the next clip: Jhong’s advice to Lassy about searching for a special someone. “Abang-abang lang, Lassy.” Of course, it’s not a Jhong-Lassy moment without the punchlines.
