Ever since It’s Showtime started in 2009, Vice Ganda has never failed to amuse us with her natural comedic flair that truly brought good vibes to the madlang people. But aside from her fool-proof humor, we also admire the trendy OOTDs that she wears in every episode.

While she can rock androgynous outfits, she can also slay in feminine ‘fits that are complemented by her ever-changing hair, stunning makeup, and “girly” accessories. With how feminine she usually looks, we find it amusing when people call her “sir” in several occasions, to which she reacted jokingly pissed, such as the ones included in this Kapamilya Update feature.

As she asked Mr. Q & A contestant Riclas to give them a rap sample, he initially addressed her “Sir,” to which everyone burst into laughter. She then wasn’t able to keep her gigil when the policeman-father of a Tawag ng Tanghalan contestant called her “sir” first before “correcting” it to “ma’am. The same happened when she and co-host Vhong Navarro were interviewing a TNT contestant, who she jestingly threatened to harm.

Despite wearing a full-on makeup, mini shorts, and blonde lob, a contestant of the “Biyahero” segment still dubbed her “sir” not just once, but twice! She then jokingly walked out and warned to attack a TNT winner named Joselito at his house in Obando, Bulacan after he called her “sir”.

The Unkabogable Star then got “displeased” when a member of a hip-hop group competing in the “Hypebest” segment addressed her as “Sir” when she, Vhong, and Jhong Hilario were interviewing them. She funnily expressed that her efforts in putting on a purple wig, lipliner, and false eyelashes were just put into waste.

And lastly, she couldn’t hell herself from dropping his jersey shorts after she was once again dubbed “sir” by another “Biyahero” contestant.

While Vice tend to react jestingly mad and annoyed to everyone who would call her “sir” on the noontime program, she divulged in an episode of It’s Showtime in 2021 that she actually doesn’t care how people would address her when asked by her co-hosts Jugs Jugueta and Teddy Corpuz.

“Ako, kahit ano. ‘Pag tinawag mo akong ‘ma’am’, hindi ako mao-offend. ‘Pag tinawag mo akong ‘sir’, hindi rin ako mao-offend. Hindi ko nire-recognize ang sarili ko… Either. Non-binary ang gender ko,” she started off. Then she added, “Kahit sa mga articles, ‘pag ini-interview ako, ‘Ano pong pronoun ang gusto n’yong gamitin sa inyo, she po ba or he?’ Ako, personally, sasabihin ko, I don’t really mind. Kung ano pong gusto n’yo. Hindi ako mao-offend kung gamitan n’yo ako ng ‘he’ or ‘she’.”

Get your daily dose of good vibes from the one and only unkabogable star Vice Ganda by watching It’s Showtime from Monday to Saturday, on Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, A2Z, and TV5.
