Anne Curtis on Saturday, May 28, elated the “It’s Showtime” madlang people with a stunning comeback involving elaborate backdrops and a headstrong Ariana Grande hit – concert feels all over!

For Anne’s return to the noontime show after more than two years since taking maternity leave, the “It’s Showtime” family likewise arranged a grand welcome party fit for a ‘Dyosa.’ The episode kicked off from a montage of Anne’s bloopers and comedic moments on the show.

From hilarious, the mood turned romantic as Ogie Alcasid, Teddy Corpuz, Jugs Jugueta, Ryan Bang, and Ion Perez charmed everyone with their performance of Anees’ “Sun and Moon.” The ladies – Karylle, Kim Chiu, Amy Perez, and Jackie Gonzaga – showcased their pretty rendition of “My Universe” by BTS and Coldplay. The electrifying dance moves, Vhong Navarro and Kim Chiu got that covered. Joined by his co-hosts on stage, Vice Ganda delivered the spiels to introduce the lady of the hour.

The country’s one and only Dyosa then took the stage with Ariana Grande’s “Breakfree,” asking adorably for a take two a few lines into the song. With the “It’s Showtime” family cheering her on, Anne owned the moment, and a much-awaited one at that!

The superstar was overwhelmed by big emotions, jitters included. Admittedly, she’s anxious about her comeback for now she’s going to start with baby steps again. But she’s nonetheless excited to be with the madlang people, confident that her It’s Showtime family will help her adapt to all the ‘changes’ in the program. It was also the first time Baby Dahlia Amelie got a special shout-out from Mommy Anne on TV!

And what’s a welcome party without the tears! Anne was moved and at the same time overjoyed to hear the It’s Showtime hosts express how much they missed her. In the case of new recruits Ogie and Kim, they shared what they're looking forward to in working with Anne.

The multitalented It Girl also missed saying out loud her signature welcome chant for the “super-duper fabulous, sexy and machong madlang people!”

Now it’s time to impress anew with her hosting skills. In the “Showtime Sexy Babe” segment, Anne came prepared with her improved Tagalog skills and her eloquent way of sharing wise pieces of advice about love and life.

And to complete the Multimedia Superstar’s comeback, she was dared to take on the “Paru-Paro G Dance Challenge”!
