Ever since its newest segment “Isip Bata” was launched last February 20, the madlang people has been treated with loads of good vibes through the amusing banters of the It’s Showtime hosts with its “Batang Cute-po” or kiddie advisers. And one of them is the charming, quick-witted, and articulate young Batangueña Princess Kathrine Caponpon, or more popularly known by her nickname “Kulot”.

The segment may have only been running for more than a week now, but the little girl, who hails from the municipality of Taysan, Batangas, has already astonished us with her impressive wit, innate sense of humor, and sheer honesty that really got us laughing us so hard. And in this Kapamilya Update feature, let’s look back on some of her funniest moments!

Let us start off with that moment when Vice Ganda asked if she had already witnessed her mother cry. And without any hint of hesitation, she revealed that it was her father who she caught weeping instead as he’s being alleged of philandering and cockfighting. Thus, she couldn’t help but tell him, “’Yan, babae pa more,” which is enough to make everyone burst into laughter.

While a lot of children her age fervently believes in Santa Claus, she, on the other hand, considers him “fake news.” She also amused us when she described their house and exposed which part of it is the messiest, as well as when she was asked what type of playmate she despises, to which she replied “iyakin” or crybaby. Aside from her wit, she’s also able to show off her natural acting skills that absolutely made every laugh out loud.

As the Unkabogable Star and Jhong asked her to interrogate her fellow “Batang Cute-po” Lucas, who’s an “Englishero,” Kulot consistently refused as she’s only fluent in Tagalog. Thus, she just pointed at another “Batang Cute-po” Imogen and suggested them to ask her instead since she’s the one who can communicate in English.

To those who are wondering where the noontime show got her, she actually shot to fame when her videos on Facebook, which are uploaded on her page named “Ako si kulot,” started getting viral online in 2022.
