We all can’t get over with Luis Manzano and Jessy Mendiola’s romantic second wedding held in Coron, Palawan last February 15, in time for their third anniversary as a married couple.
On her YouTube channel, Mrs. Manzano shared a glimpse of the sweet and gorgeous beachside ceremony attended only by their closest friends and family. Jessy describes it as her dream wedding since her family was present, and her parents got to walk her down the aisle, unlike their civil wedding in Batangas where her family wasn’t able to attend due to the pandemic. Luis’ parents, Vilma Santos and Edu Manzano, as well as stepdad Ralph Recto and his siblings, were also present on the special day.
Jessy’s bridal walk was perfectly timed to catch the golden hour, with Daryl Ong’s live rendition of “Baby I Love Your Way” in the background. She looked every inch a radiant bride glowing with happiness, love, and contentment.
The couple’s vows also mirrored the sunset’s symbolism of a new dawn and choosing each other again and again at the end of the day. “We are still here because we chose love, we chose us. I thank the Lord that we get to do this in front of our Peanut, so that she can see what real love is all about,” Luis told Jessy.
In turn, Jessy made beautiful promises to her groom and their little daughter Isabella Rose, who looked so giddy while watching mom and dad exchange vows. “God has given us our biggest blessing, our little Rosie, and I always say this, always, ‘Kayo lang sapat na.’ I promise to love our family with all my being. I promise to always love you over and over again even on our hardest days. And I promise to protect our peace and happiness,” Jessy declared in front of their friends and family. She also turned to Peanut, telling her, “I love you.”
