Angeline Quinto and her soon-to-be baby girl are showered with love and joy!
The singer, who shared her second pregnancy and gender reveal news back in May, was over the moon when she walked into a surprise baby shower as she gets ready to welcome her second child.
The best part? Angeline managed to capture the whole surprise on her vlog, unaware of the pink-themed celebration awaiting her. She opens the video by telling her followers that she and her family are heading to a friend's farm in Lipa, Batangas. It’s a nostalgic trip for her, as she first visited the farm right after winning “Star Power.” Now, she’s returning to tour her followers around the farm, which was also where her management team was having a meeting to plan her next career moves. Angeline thought she was the one bringing a surprise to the team, who didn’t know that she and her husband Nonrev Daquina and their son Sylvio would be joining the meeting.
As soon as Angeline arrived, she was immediately intrigued when greeted with a bouquet of flowers handed to her by Nonrev. “Hindi ko naman birthday. Bakit may pa-flowers kayo?” she asked, puzzled but clearly touched.
The excitement soared higher as they walked into the function hall and were met with the stunning setup for the baby shower. “Huy, teka lang, hindi ako nag-makeup,” was her first amusing reaction as it sank in—this was indeed a surprise baby shower, complete with a beautifully decorated stage, delicious food, and the presence of all her beloved friends.
The event was a vision of pink, adorned with a backdrop of balloons and flowers, and a buffet table overflowing with delicious options.
“Akala ko ang pupuntahan ko dito ay planning ng management ko. Ang iniisip ko ‘yun lang at saka dapat magva-vlog lang kami with family. Hindi ko inisip na may ganito so sobrang thank you, nakakatuwa,” Angeline shared, her heart brimming with joy and gratitude for her management, the mastermind behind the surprise, and everyone who came to celebrate with her.
Everyone had a blast, especially with the fun games that had Angeline laughing out loud. And of course, no party is complete without her hilarious jokes! We think the baby in her womb was probably giggling too, feeling all the joy and laughter from Mommy Angeline.
