In a fun and light-hearted break from their busy schedules, actors Xyriel Manabat and Elijah Canlas, known to “High Street” fans as RoxChie, took on the "Two Truths and A Lie" Challenge, offering fans a glimpse into their personalities and genuine camaraderie beyond the screen.
In this game, the players share two truths and one lie about themselves while others guess the lie. It's also a chance for fans to witness just how well the two know each other.
Xyriel kicked things off with her first three statements: she claimed to have slept for less than three hours that day, that she hadn’t eaten yet by the time of the interview, and that her outfit was completely unplanned.
Elijah complimented Xyriel's styling, noting how amazing it looked, which led him to believe it couldn't possibly be spontaneous. To his surprise, Xyriel revealed it was actually one of the truths. The lie, according to her, was that she hadn't eaten yet that day.
Elijah, renowned for his serious and intense portrayals, revealed a playful side during the challenge. His three statements were: "Ako ang gumawa ng ring na 'to. Hindi sa aking itong damit na 'to. Kumain ako ng ramen today." Xyriel, being clever as ever, attempted to sneakily gather clues by subtly asking, "Nag-stylist ka ba today?" However, Elijah saw through her tactics and refused to answer her follow-up questions, knowing she was trying to extract hints.
Most viewers might find it hard to believe that Elijah made the ring he's wearing, a sentiment Xyriel shares. However, he was actually telling the truth about it. The lie was in his statement about the outfit not belonging to him.
In the next round, Elijah shared, "Takot ako maglagay ng contact lenses. Nanood ako IMAX movie kagabi. Hindi umaandar 'yung kotse ko." Confident Xyriel asserted her observant nature, mentioning she had heard the first two statements about Elijah before. Therefore, she confidently identified the third sentence as a lie, and she was correct.
