As the Northford High barkada continues to navigate adulthood, they meet new faces. Our favorite ‘kikay’ girl of the group, Roxy (Xyriel Manabat), appears to have felt a 'spark' with Dr. Kevin (Ralph de Leon), her colleague at the hospital.
While our hearts still beat for RoxChie, the tandem of Roxy and Archie (Elijah Canlas), it is also impossible to turn a blind eye to the undeniable chemistry between Roxy and Kevin and see that the latter seems to be a good man with pure intentions towards her.

Audiences can sure relate to the kilig moment when Roxy, to her surprise, was treated by Kevin at a coffee shop. Even her friends Tim (Zaijian Jaranilla) and Poch (Miggy Jimenez) teased her about how quickly her emotions shifted—from crying over her problems to suddenly being cheerful in front of the handsome doctor. When Kevin volunteered to take her home, she didn’t hesitate to agree and even playfully whispered to Tim not to protest.
In the second scene, before Roxy got out of the car, Kevin remarked that he sensed something special in Tim's feelings for her. Casually, he admitted he wanted to know if Tim was courting Roxy again so he could be aware of his rivals. However, Roxy quickly clarified that she and Tim are just best friends, and they’re close because of their bond as BFFs and ex-lovers. Besides, Tim and Poch’s relationship is going strong.
It felt as if butterflies filled the air when Kevin confessed his intention to court Roxy. However, Roxy, losing her confidence, was puzzled as to why a good-looking, wealthy, and bachelor doctor would pursue a single mother like her. “Bakit ako?” she asked. Our hearts melted with Kevin’s sincere reply, “Bakit hindi? Gusto ko, eh. Gusto kita, eh.” We can only wonder how Roxy managed to maintain her composure during such a heart-fluttering confession from Doc Kevin.
We couldn't help but cheer for Roxy during her 'haba ng hair' moment when Kevin asked for her sister Ria’s (Rans Rifol) permission to court her. Kevin even mentioned that if they would end up together, he would hire a nanny for Roxy’s son, Riley (Argus Aspiras), having observed how challenging it was for Roxy to manage her time as a single mother.
Who wouldn't swoon over a true gentleman who shows great respect for a woman? As viewers, we couldn't help but admire Doc Kevin for his subtle 'daddy duties' to Riley, such as when he checked on the cause of the child's illness. Witnessing firsthand how exceptional a mother Roxy is, his admiration for her only deepened.
Admit it, there’s something undeniably charming about Kevin’s smile and his naturally sweet ways that make every girl feel special. Recall that scene in a café when he suddenly appeared behind Roxy to greet her good morning. The way he softened when Roxy had his usual order ready felt so pure. Our hearts fluttered when he promised that he would be just one call away, especially during emergencies involving Riley.
But of course, Roxy’s charming, playful side showed as she politely turned down Kevin’s persistent invitation to go out. "Next time," she assured him. Are you also curious about when this 'next time' will happen?
