The premiere of “High Street,” the highly anticipated sequel of the well-loved series “Senior High,” is getting nearer and nearer! Over the previous weeks, Dreamscape Entertainment has given us glimpses on the exciting first taping days of some of its stars.

And to continue stirring our excitement, the prolific production unit has recently shared this montage featuring the senior cast members as they impart their first taping day experiences and the things that they are thrilled about “High Street.”

Kean Cipriano, who plays Brandon, the partner of Angel Aquino’s character Tanya, conveyed, “Excited kami dahil mas gamay na namin ‘yong vibe, the chemistry is there already. Mas pamilya na kami, mas pamilya na ang pakiramdam kaya mas masaya ‘to.”

With brilliant directors Lino Cayetano and Onat Diaz on the helm, Kean added that they do not have other goals but to get the right attitude and right emotions of their characters required by the story or scenes.

Since the series will have a whole new story and a whole new setting, Inka Magnaye, who plays Becca, the trustworthy best friend of Tanya, enthused how excited she truly is for everyone to see it.

She may be a newbie when it comes to acting and still exploring the craft, yet she’s proud to share that she has known Becca now on a deeper level. Thus, she likes to discover how she can further “expand Becca into a character.” At the same time, the popular voice artist looks forward to acting alongside her other co-stars and to seeing the twists that are going to happen in the series.

Rans Rifol, who portrays Ria, the loving big sister of Xyriel Manabat’s well-loved character, conveyed how much she missed the kakulitan of her castmates, particularly the Gen Zs. Besides, she’s also excited to see how they are going to portray their roles, given that they have their own respective lives and careers already in “High Street.”

Meanwhile, Ana Abad-Santos shared how her first taping day felt “like coming home.” Among the things that she looks forward to in the sequel are the scenes between her character Cecille and her husband William, compellingly played by Mon Confiado, which are going to be surely filled with energy and intensity since both of them are dynamic actors. It can be recalled that in a roundtable discussion of the casts, Mon had quite the same hunch, saying that he feels that the narrative is going to be suspenseful since there’ll be eminent vengeance.

Just like many of the viewers, Ana also wants to see what has happened between them after five years.

Angeli Bayani also felt wonderful to be able to go back to work and be reunited with her “Senior High” castmates as she related, “Ang sarap bumalik sa trabaho kung saan masaya ‘yong mga kasama mo.”

Her onscreen husband Gerald Madrid feels the same glee to be able to reprise his role, so both him and Angeli yearns nothing but to give everything that they can for their character and the narrative.

Like the viewers, they are also yet to find out what will happen to the marriage of their characters Edith and Elmo, the parents of Zaijian Jaranilla’s Tim, since the former apparently didn’t leave for Canada anymore in the past five years.

Both of them are also shocked by the decisions made by the younger characters, as well as by the loads of revelation. Thus, Gerald expects that the viewers will fall in love with “High Street.”

Despite being a newcomer to the series, Romnick Sarmenta feels working with everyone, especially with the production crew, “very light” since he already got to work with most of them in other projects

As he didn’t divulge further details about his character Dante, who is revealed to be the boss of Sky, (Andrea Brillantes) in the full trailer. He stressed that the viewers need to watch “High Street” to find out how his portrayal of Dante is totally different from the other roles he did, and how we can be able to relate or be reminded of someone we know through him.

Are these enough to excite you for the arrival of “High Street” on primetime TV? Well, you better not miss its premiere on May 13 on Kapamilya Channel, and Kapamilya Online Live, A2Z, and TV5.
