High Street Angel Dimples First Taping

You know that exhilarating feeling when your favorite series announces its return with a fresh season, and you simply can't wait for its premiere? That's exactly what we’re feeling as "High Street," the highly anticipated sequel to the beloved teen drama "Senior High," gears up for its debut on May 13.

It appears like the cast members share our enthusiasm—and they’re as clueless as us when it comes to what to expect in the upcoming series.

Dreamscape Entertainment grants us exclusive access to the set of "High Street" on its first taping day, allowing us to catch up with two of its shining stars, Angel Aquino and Dimples Romana, through a recent Instagram reel.

It's nice to see you again, Tanya— and your radiant new look and adorable baby bump! Angel steps back into the shoes of Tanya, the mother of Andrea Brillantes' character, Sky. The seasoned actress shares that while there's a sense of familiarity in reprising a role she's embodied before, both she and the other cast members are equally clueless about what lies ahead in this new season. It feels like embarking on fresh adventures and growing alongside their characters once again.

“Just like ‘Senior High,’ parang everything is kept as a secret from all of us para hindi namin alam. We’re all at the edge of our seats everytime. That’s what we’re excited about – it’s another journey for all of us,” shared Angel, who couldn't be happier to reunite with her "Senior High" family four months after the Season 1 finale.

Oh, and it's a pleasure to meet you, Tori! With a new sequel comes a fresh batch of cast members to add some spice to the narrative, and one of them is Dimples, who will be taking on the role of Tori. While not much has been revealed about Tori's character or her role in the lives of the former Northford High students, from the looks of her, she appears to be a strong and intimidating woman.

“Magtatatlong dekada ka nang nagtatrabaho bilang artista, the challenge and the excitement comes from not knowing exactly what you’re going to discover with yourself. This time, doble ang kaba at doble ang tibok sa sobrang excitement,” expressed Dimples, who considers this series as her comeback after a brief hiatus from teleseryes since the last birthday of the late Dreamscape Entertainment Head, Deo Endrinal. A wave of sentimentality washed over her as she thought of the beloved Sir Deo and being reunited with her Dreamscape family.

If "Senior High" had its fair share of shocking and even sordid plot twists, its sequel, "High Street," promises to be even more explosive. “It has to be stronger, it has to be more compelling, it has to be more gripping so that we get back you, guys, people who supported Senior High and we get many more people to come and take our journey and adventure with us,” hinted Angel.

High Street,” featuring the most talented stars of this generation – Andrea Brillantes, Juan Karlos Labajo, Zaijian Jaranilla, Xyriel Manabat, Elijah Canlas, Daniela Stranner, and with new cast members AC Bonifacio, Harvey Bautista, and Ralph de Leon – will premiere this May 13 at 9:30 pm on Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, TV5, and A2Z.
