Hunky men who guested on Gandang Gabi Vice were always game to flaunt their sexy abs. In this throwback episode, the ‘pandesal’ exhibit was courtesy of JC De Vera and US Marine turned model-actor John Spainhour.

Vice Ganda first got to know John, a former military and sniper. He said he’s from North Carolina, United States and travelled across Asia to pursue a modelling career.

John’s toned physique is a product of workout and military training. Asked if he thinks he’s sexy, he answered, “I guess so. I understand that everyone has a different view of what’s sexy and I just find myself okay. I know there are a lot of things that I want to improve about myself. I just keep working for that.”

Meanwhile, JC would rather call himself a ‘hard worker’ than sexy. He started working out in grade school. They say that vigorous physical activities hinder kids’ growth, which JC jestingly confirms, “Kaya nga hindi na ako lumaki.”

Then, Vice asked John which body part he’s most proud of. He mentioned the abs and, as challenged, flaunted them on national TV. JC also didn’t back down from the dare.
