With his boy-next-door charm, Patrick Garcia stole a lot of hearts in the ‘90s including that of Vice Ganda.

Crush na crush kita n’ung bata. Sobrang cute mo dati! Naka-braces ka pa, mahaba pa buhok mo tapos nagtatata-tumbling ka sa ASAP,” gushed the Unkabogable Star when he got to talk with Patrick in an episode of Gandang Gabi Vice.

Vice was all the more impressed as Patrick talked about his childhood. The ‘90s heartthrob shared that he studied in a school in Alabang. He also played basketball, motocross, and soccer mainly inside their village. His family also had their private swimming pool.

On the type of student he was, Patrick said he took his studies seriously. He never cut classes even if it’s his least favorite subject or teacher, “I still have to stay in class. I have to listen.

Patrick also mentioned that he has Spanish blood.

Joining Patrick in the episode was his “Two Wives” co-star Jason Abalos, who spent his childhood in the province playing outdoors or in the mountains and swimming in dam water.

Vice asked Jason if he’d want to trade places with Patrick but he said he was content with his happy childhood life in the province.
