Dirty Linen centers on suspenseful scenes, but of course, a little ‘kilig’ in the middle of the nail-biting narrative keeps it more exciting, for which we can count on Max (Christian Bables) and Lala (Jennica Garcia). Watch their funny 'kilig' moments in the series via this edition of Kapamilya Update.

Lala and Max’s connection was built on an emotional bond that remained strong even after years of being apart. To recall, they first met as orphaned kids but were separated when Alexa turned over Lala to social workers. Their reunion as adults showed Lala’s naturally playful self as she ran to Max and hugged him, saying he missed him so much, to which Max had a funny hirit, “Wala naman akong utang sa’yo, ah?”

One thing we love about Lala is she can still insert her cutesy antics even in dire situations, like when she flirted with Max in the middle of their task to sabotage Carlos (John Arcilla)’s transaction with Hector (Ping Medina). Max reminded Lala to hold on to him tight as she rides on the back of his motorcycle. The naughty Lala had a light-bulb moment, and we know what happens next when she smiles like that! She hopped on the motorcycle and asked Max to rehearse for “safety first” and got real close to him. When Max placed her hands just on his chest level and demonstrated proper distance, Lala didn’t stop pestering him and smelled the back of his head.

In the next clip, Max suggested that Lala comes with him as they wait for things to cool down since Carlos was on the lookout. She liked what he said, smiled, and replied, “Sure, my labs! Basta ikaw, nanginginig pa.”

When Lala was jealous of the attention Alexa (Janine Gutierrez) gets, Max explained that he is also worried about her and proof is that he stayed while she was chilling due to her injury last night. Lala implied that she wants to remember how the embrace feels like, so she asked Max to do it again. He did, but not without a little tough love.

The final scene in this video montage shows Max handing Lala her things as they prepare to leave. Her only reply was, “Kiss mo muna ako. Gusto ko sa lips, may malisya.” She said that she is willing to commit fully to him. And when Max evaded her playful remarks, she called him ‘pakipot’.
