In Mars Ravelo’s Darna, action is the name of the game, but humor is also welcome. Kapamilya Toplist collated the most comedic scenes from the series, so you can just go back to this video whenever you feel like missing the cast.

Narda (Jane de Leon) and Brian (Joshua Garcia)’s ‘asaran’ moments are fan favorites. Remember when she poked fun at him for showing intense concern during their first rescue mission at an earthquake site? She reacted, “Makapag-alala, akala boyfriend,” to which he replied, “Kadiri ka.” But our heroine had the final say: “Choosy yarn?”

When he told her to step out of the police investigations because she is a civilian and not Darna who can save herself, Narda turned her back and thought, “Akala mo lang.”

Some of the funniest conversations among boys happen when there is alcohol involved. During their casual drinking session in a resto-bar, Brian, Richard (LA Santos), and Andre (Young JV) had hilarious things to say about Darna, with Andre joking that Darna is a brave woman, so brave she can face the public in a two-piece bikini.

We can rely on Andre and his one-liners for our dose of entertainment. Remember when he and Richard were invited to join the Custodios for dinner? They teased Narda for her long line of suitors, with Andre blurting out, “Haba ng bangs!” Narda looked so cute when she told Lola Berta (Rio Locsin) to keep the extra rice from their visitors.

The Martean warrior Luna (Kira Balinger) also brought loads of good vibes during her adventure on Earth. Presenting: Luna’s culture shock moments! First, she was scared to find ‘pancit’ on the table, mistaking it for snakes, so the Custodio family explained that pancit is made of wheat flour noodles. She also learned how to use a fork and tasted Lola Berta’s unmatched adobo recipe. Then, Ding asked if he can borrow Luna’s necklace, which is a secret translator, so he can watch Korean dramas without subtitles.

She didn’t look like an alien during her interaction with the Custodio family’s neighbors, only that she mistook a stray dog for a monster. Keeping her stay with the earthlings extra memorable, she met new friends including Richard, who was so smitten we can practically catch his eyes forming hearts whenever he sees Luna. During the town fiesta, he gave her cotton candy that made her ask, “Anong klaseng ulap ito?”

Mayor Zaldy (Simon Ibarra) may be a ‘kontrabida’ but he is so funny we actually love watching him, especially his ‘bardagulan’ moments Valentina/Regina (Janella Salvador). When Valentina slithered to Mayor Zaldy’s office, the latter was so scared he pissed his pants. Valentina then asked for his cell phone passcode, which was 143444, and it stands for ‘I love you very, very much.’ The snake woman was amused, she said, “Cute!”

Regina had some pretty memorable scenes as well, such as when he criticized Mayor Zaldy on her vlog and said the problems in Nueva Esperanza can’t be solved by the Mayor’s ‘pa-cute’ finger-heart gesture. There was also a scene where she had no appetite to eat the breakfast Brian prepared, so he convinced her more by joking that he can smell her bad breath.

The Dark Brian story arc also presented pure comedy, thanks to Joshua’s great acting chops. When the green chrysalis created his evil duplicate, the Dark Brian did all kinds of mischief from catcalling women to pulling pranks in the streets.

The Super Soldiers likewise have their entries, especially Pineda (Eric Fructuoso), who loves to crack salty comments punctuated by his annoying laugh. There was a scene where he made hilarious comments about Brian's romance with Darna (Jane de Leon), calling him “Sir Lover boy.” In another scene, he asked Borgo (Richard Quan) to give him a better superpower than the ability to control garbage because he’s worried people might call him “trash talker” or “garbage verzosa.”

Of course, we can’t leave out the ‘zumba scene’ where the Super Soldiers were manipulated by Maisha (Dawn Chang) to dance. Who do you think was the best dancer?

Ali (Mac Manicad)’s blooper scene shows him sneaking inside the female locker room at the Vanguardia building. Noah (Paolo Gumabao) made Brian and Ding burst into laughter when he said he wants to treat Narda like a princess.

Narda’s neighbors are the best bunch. We remember when Oleg (Zeppi Borromeo) disguised himself as a gay dancer in a club to investigate the distribution of an illegal drug called sparkler. He almost hugged Brian after he and Narda were saved from the syndicates, then he let them talk and walked unsteadily in high heels.

Our superhero Darna had some funny moments as well, like when she thought a woman was screaming for help. It turns out the woman was just sharing some PDA with her boyfriend. In another scene, Darna checked on the makeup artist-vlogger attacked by Killer Ghost (Christian Bables). The gay victim couldn’t help but comment on Darna’s beauty and gregariously shared that he copied her costume for Halloween.

We can watch these scenes again and again and still find them funny!

Going back to action, let us not miss the final episode of Mars Ravelo’s Darna, tonight, on Kapamilya
