It has been days since Jane de Leon took her final flight as Darna, but the impact she left will forever be etched in our hearts. If you’re still as invested as us, relive Jane’s trending scenes via this Kapamilya Toplist from Mars Ravelo’s Darna.

The Darna versus Hergis/Klaudio (Joko Diaz) fight is one of the most lauded in the series due to its cinematic choreography and visual elements, plus it was the first time Narda uttered the iconic line “Ding, ang bato” and transformed in front of her brother. Her mid-air transformations are so enthralling we can’t get enough.

The Kapamilya actress satisfied our cravings for high-octane action since her character fully embarked on an adventurous journey as Babaeng Lumilipad. Even when facing the Extras such as Clone Man (Neil Coleta) and Silent Shocker (Boom Labrusca), Jane’s character delivered propulsive combat skills. The ‘Extras’ can mutate all they want but Darna won’t back down even from multiple enemies such as when Vince aka Clone Man used his powers to escape the cops. Not only was Jane physically strong but she was sharp as well, evinced by her quick judgment to spot the real Vince.

Apart from her mighty punches and super speed, these showdowns got more interesting because of the Extras' dangerous powers.

Jane brought tremendous depth to her character. She diligently trained for the role, of course, gifting us with accurately stunning fights. Another crowd favorite is her parking lot brawl against a syndicate group. This modern version of Darna highlights her steel-hard skin where bullets simply bounce off, creating more cinematic visuals. The bullets ricocheted when she saved a young girl trapped in a dangerous shootout between the cops and the syndicate. The largest guy slammed her with steel but her skin was indestructible.

Sometimes it just takes a worthy opponent to unleash the superhero’s physical prowess. We’re talking about the time when Darna and Luna (Kira Balinger) battled each other. This is probably one of the most threatening showdowns Darna had because of Luna’s wide collection of skills and powers including invisibility. Darna broke the water valve using sheer strength, causing a chaotic sprinkler effect that enhanced the scene. And the way Jane uttered the line “Ako ang protector ng bato” sounded so powerful and intimidating.

Also making it to this list is the scene that showcased Jane's duality – the Darna versus Darna showdown. Borgo (Richard Quan) copied Darna’s identity, resulting in a clash that highlighted the real Darna’s phenomenal strength and tremendous agility.

Darna’s final face-off with Dr. Ibarra (Lito Pimentel) trended for her gripping strategies. There’s nothing more thrilling than a fight scene that keeps us guessing about our hero’s fate. Dr. Ibarra challenged Darna’s powers. But with her fierce determination and abilities, and with the help of her allies, she was able to defeat the villain.

Jane’s interaction with Janella Salvador’s character almost always trends whether they’re in costumes or just plain humans. Their first clash as Darna and Valentina happened in the same building where they held their day jobs. Valentina’s minions smothered Boy Chop-Chop (Henz Villaraiz), but Darna showed her power move by clutching the snake tentacles until Valentina lets go of the X-Triad member.

Of course, we can’t leave out their confrontation at the Nueva Esperanza Charity Ball wherein Regina (Janella Salvador) accidentally revealed her demonic alter-ego in front of a crowd. When we talk about their badass brawls, we’ll never forget their mid-air clash after Darna tried to save Brian (Joshua Garcia)’s Task Force from Valentina’s attack. They went into battle mode up in the air until one of them fell. The fight continued with Darna’s superb moves blocking Valentina’s venom while the cops threw a barrage of bullets.

But, at the time, we haven’t seen yet every ounce of Jane’s full potential. Save the best for last, they say. In the finale week, we witnessed Jane unleash her best superpower –Hiraya – as she defeated Borgo and his Super Soldiers. The special glowing effects on Darna’s costume, Jane’s badass form and stamina-filled action, plus the cinematic visuals that matched her gripping narration – everything about her final scuffle with Borgo, and the so-called “hiraya” powers is impossible to forget.
