She’s the internet’s newest apple of the eye!

As we've delved deeper into the character of Bettina Tiu in "Can’t Buy Me Love," we've become captivated and inspired by the talented actress behind the role—Kaila Estrada.

As she impressed yet again in another buzzworthy small screen project, she has sparked our curiosity and admiration, making us eager to learn more about her.

Here's a unique way to get to know her better—through her many unforgettable 'firsts,' offering a glimpse into what Kaila was like in her pre-showbiz era.

Here’s our first surprise: before she ventured into acting, Kaila's first passion was the culinary arts, just like her mother, Janice de Belen. Her first expertise? Brownies. She started with ready-to-bake boxed brownie mixes and gradually perfected her own delicious recipes.

She labels herself a certified foodie, so it’s no surprise her first talent fee was spent on a delightful meal.

She experienced her first starstruck moment at the age of 15 when she accompanied her mother to the studio of "ASAP Natin 'To" and met Piolo Pascual, “Natulala ako kasi gwapo talaga ni Papa P!”

Dimples Romana, her co-star in "Viral Scandal," was the first celebrity to offer Kaila pieces of advice, as Dimples noticed that she was scared about her first role. “Sabi ni Ate sa akin, ‘As long as you know your character well and you know how she’s supposed to feel, then you’re going to be good.” Prompted to look back on her time in "Viral Scandal," she expressed gratitude for the trust the management placed in her by giving her substantial projects. Of course, she also received acting wisdom from her mother, who advised her to channel her nerves into her performance.

Before her showbiz career took off, her first celebrity friend was Richard Juan, her fellow youth ambassador.

Her first celebrity crush was Rico Yan, and it happened when she was only two years old. According to her mom’s ‘kwento,’ she was so mesmerized upon seeing Rico at the time, so much that she only stared at him in awe.

What fun revelations! And we ‘stan’ her journey from a starry-eyed child to a beloved actress.
