Netizens are buzzing with delight over the on-screen chemistry between Snoop (Anthony Jennings) and Irene (Maris Racal) in “Can’t Buy Me Love.” They may be different in so many ways, yet, spectators think they’d make a good pair. The potential love story starts with Snoop’s heroic save when he caught Irene, who was then abducted by Balong (Ronnie Lazaro) and Felix (Alex Medina), from a perilous fall off an uncompleted building. Despite the awkward and quite comical aftermath, viewers couldn’t help but appreciate Snoop’s quick reflexes in keeping Irene out of harm’s way. That’s when viewers started to see them as an interesting pair.
Snoop and Bingo (Donny Pangilinan) were invited to a dinner at the Tiu mansion as the family’s act of gratitude and to formally pay for the amount Caroline (Belle Mariano) owes to Bingo. Snoop’s quest to find Irene led to a series of comedic events. He looked for her in Yaya Ikay (Kakai Bautista), who only said that Irene is naturally 'masungit' and that's why she's likely absent at the gathering.
