FPJ’s Batang Quiapo stars Miles Ocampo and Ryza Cenon play Kapamilya Chat’s “Fact or Fake” Challenge. The host would read statements about the actresses from the internet, which they would either confirm or deny.

First was the assumption that Ryza wants her two-year-old son, Night, to enter showbiz, which she debunked. “Kasi alam ko ‘yung buhay-artista. Ayaw kong sa gano’ng age niya maranasan niya ‘yung hirap.” She wants Night to enjoy his childhood first, or he can take on commercials should he receive an offer. But when the time comes that he decides by himself to join the industry, Ryza said she will not stop him from doing what he likes.

As a former child star, Miles was prompted to share her opinion. According to Miles, she convinced her parents to let her join showbiz as she was fascinated with seeing people on TV, which she thought was a magic box. Therefore, work felt like play at the time, “Iba kasi ‘pag pinilit lang ‘yung bata, iba kapag ‘yung bata ang may gusto”

When asked if she’s getting tired of playing the same oppressed roles on TV, Miles answered “fake” because the truth is she enjoys acting out any character. The only challenge is keeping her portrayal fresh and exciting each time.

Miles knew that FPJ’s Batang Quiapo would receive good viewership since it is Coco Martin’s show. What she didn’t expect was the warm reception about her and her co-actors' performance in the pilot episode, “Sobrang overwhelming for me.”

Ryza seconded, “Talagang lahat kami natuwa na gano’n ‘yung naging outcome ng buong hirap na ginawa namin. Nakakatuwa na worth it talaga ‘yung pagod,” adding that she’s very proud of Miles.

In the next question, Ryza admitted that she finds her trending memes amusing. Recently, she clapped back at a netizen who called her ungrateful after she reposted and reacted to a meme comparing her past and present teleserye characters. She clarified that she didn’t take a swipe at anyone. “Naki-ride lang ako kasi natutuwa ako at saka ako naman ‘yung pinagtatawanan n’yo, hindi naman kung anong network. Wala naman akong sinabing bad sa ibang network,” she detailed with a smile, asking fans to spread love, especially now that even ex-rivals are collaborating to provide quality entertainment for Filipinos.

We end the game with the statement, “Hiwalay na sina Miles at Elijah Canlas,” which Miles denied, saying they are very much happy together.
