Every girl, no matter how independent she might seem, would feel loved and ‘kilig’ with a man who comes to her rescue, especially in times of trouble – her knight in shining armor. In the Kapamilya series FPJ’s Batang Quiapo, Mokang (Lovi Poe) has found hers in Tanggol (Coco Martin), the childhood best friend whose affection for her never falters.

Friday 5 collates the scene of Tanggol coming to save Mokang in FPJ’s Batang Quiapo. These moments will sure make you say, “Sana all may Tanggol.”

Remember the time when he accompanied her to school and met her pervert professor named Mr. Mangahas? Mokang said that she doesn’t want to show up at Mr. Mangahas’ class because of his being a pervert, thus Tanggol gave the professor his lesson by punching him. Mokang ended up leaving Mr. Mangahas’ class and going out on a foodtrip date with her savior.

When a classmate, JP (Dino Imperial), tried to sexually assault Mokang in the campus comfort room, Tanggol arrived just in time to stop his evil plan. He held him in gunpoint as Mokang begged him to put the gun down. Tanggol replied that he’d only spare JP if Mokang would learn to get even, so she was forced to beat up JP.

At their workplace as kitchen staff, Mokang was illegally touched in the arm by the senior chef, who volunteered who teach her the proper way of doing things in the kitchen. Tanggol heard Mokang’s cry for help and dropped everything to save her, leading in an intense kitchen brawl, with Tanggol’s ‘tropa’ backing him up. Mokang unleashed her inner beast as well by helping in the fight.

Tanggol was also quick to act when Mokang was dragged by Roda (Joel Lamangan)’s men out of their house that was foreclosed due to her father, Marsing (Pen Medina)’s unsettled loan. Tanggol held the greedy landlord at gunpoint and warned him not to touch Mokang again.

The good thing is Tanggol keeps an eye on Mokang, especially now that she’s always in danger as a club dancer. In the last scene, Banjo (Eric Fructuoso) and his men forced to take Mokang back. But they were no match with Tanggol and his friends’ fight skills.

Catch more intense happenings in FPJ’s Batang Quiapo, shown weeknights, on Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, TV5, and A2Z.
