While sibling fights are truly heartbreaking, viewers can’t help but root for one camp in David (McCoy de Leon) and Santino (Ronwaldo Martin)’s feud in FPJ’s Batang Quiapo. Admit it, if you were in Santino’s shoe, you’d probably bicker a lot with David and put him in his place, too. Check out their intense clashes via this Kapamilya Toplist.

In the Dimaguiba abode, David feels he owns the throne as the most powerful family member next to the king, their patriarch Rigor (John Estrada). He thinks his education is a license to look down on his siblings. In one scene, he snitched on Tanggol (Coco Martin) without even knowing the whole story behind a recent street riot the latter got into. David would gripe to Rigor about what happened, knowing that his brother will be punished for it.

In such moments, Santino boldly confronts David to defend Tanggol. Now it become a two-versus-one clash, but David isn’t worried. After all, he knows their father will take his side.

The sibling war grew more intense when Santino caught David stealing Tanggol’s money, which was intended for Tindeng (Charo Santos)’s bail. Santino confronted David about it, resulting in a verbal sparring. He tried to tell Marites (Cherry Pie Picache) the truth, however, David expertly gaslighted their mother by making up stories and acting like the victim.

Santino was again pushed to his limits while watching David disrespect their grandmother Tindeng, who had just gotten out of jail. The brothers quarrelled in front of their grandma, with David playing the victim card again. David walked out, but not without insinuating that Tindeng has her favorites.

In the next scene, Santino was annoyed by David’s seemingly happy mood after Tanggol was ousted from home. He then caught him talking with Camille (Yuki Takahashi) over the phone, so he tried to burst his bubble by telling him, “Alam ba niya na malikot kamay mo?”

Lastly, Santino had another witty one-liner when he saw David arrive home after partying the whole night. He said their mom worried a lot. And when David arrogantly replied that he doesn’t care at all, Santino hilariously clapped back at his brother.

While some of their fights are childish in nature, Santino and David share an interesting dynamic. You surely wouldn’t want to miss an episode of FPJ’s Batang Quiapo, weeknights, on Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, TV5, and A2Z.
