While we all know that FPJ’s Batang Quiapo leading lady is the daughter of “Da King of Philippine Movies” Fernando Poe Jr., not a lot of people are aware who her mom is nor know anyone from her maternal family, since none of them are currently in showbiz.

And just in case you are part of the latter and yearns to get to know them even just a bit, we’ve got you covered as we did a little stalking on Lovi and her younger sister’s Instagram accounts and some researching on the internet about them. Born Lourdes Virginia Moran Poe on February 11, 1989, she is the lovechild of FPJ to former beauty queen, model, and actress Rowena Moran. While she has a number of half-siblings in the paternal side, she only got one in the maternal side, a younger sister named Mariel Tung.

She usually talks about her dad in most of her interviews, but during her conversation with broadcast journalist Bernadette Sembrano in the latter’s vlog last February, the sexy actress hard the rare moment to introduce and share a lot of things about her mom.

Since her mom singlehandedly raised growing up, they have formed a close-knit bond that continues to be strong up to the present. Thus, she considers her as a model of strength and grace and thanks her raising her into becoming the strong woman that she is now. She said, “I know she did her best. Lumaki ako na siya lang talaga ‘yung kasama ko. I would like to say that I was raised by a single mother and I’m grateful for that and I’m proud of that.”

Just like Lovi, her younger sister Yela is also into music and arts. She actually released a single titled “Wave” back in 2020 and shares some of her artworks on IG. Going through her account, we found out that she currently works as a pastry chef at a French restaurant in Los Angeles, California and gives us glimpses of her life at work through her posts. She is also a staunch advocate of mental health and supports various charitable organizations and programs that cater to sick and underprivileged people.

Going through Lovi and Yela’s accounts, we could spot several snaps of them hanging out together whenever they’re reunited either here in the Philippines or in the United States. Aside from being both beautiful and sexy, these sizzums also share the same penchant in going on beach trips, eating great food, and goofing around. They’ve always been supportive of each other’s endeavors – may it be work or the causes that they support.
