A year since its premiere, “FPJ's Batang Quiapo” continues to enthrall viewers with a narrative that only grows more intense episode after episode. Audiences eagerly anticipate the next chapter in Tanggol's (Coco Martin) journey.

But apart from the main hero’s story, one subplot that has particularly captivated viewers is the complicated and truly infuriating love triangle involving spouses Marites (Cherry Pie Picache) and Rigor (John Estrada), and the latter’s mistress, Lena (Mercedes Cabral).

But it seems that viewers may not have to wait much longer for the highly anticipated ‘harapan’ between these characters, as John himself dropped hints in his latest vlog, suggesting a looming female war in the series.

The clip opens with John greeting his followers while getting his makeup done on set. He introduces some crew members, including his makeup artist and the head of the wardrobe team, bantering with them as if he’s everybody’s “tropa.” Of course, a vlog from the “best friend ng bayan” wouldn’t be complete without his signature “nge”-inducing dad jokes.

The video then cuts to director Malu Sevilla and Cherry Pie having a conversation. Viewers may notice that the setting differs from the Dimaguiba household. John then reveals they are filming in a house designated as Lena’s residence in the story. So, why is Marites present in Lena’s house?

Irma Adlawan enters the set, followed by Mercedes. “Giyera ‘to,” teases John about the scene they are filming.

In recent episodes, we have seen Marites become determined to investigate her suspicions about Rigor’s affair. So, where will their stalking and instincts lead them? What are your theories, Kapamilya?
