In the recent episodes of FPJ’s Batang Quiapo, David (McCoy de Leon) and Santino (Ronwaldo Martin) have become extremely violent in their rivalry. And while sibling fights are always exhausting and heartbreaking, viewers couldn’t help but root for one camp in David and Santino's feud because of the former’s arrogance. In the Dimaguiba abode, David feels he owns the throne as the most powerful family member next to the king, their patriarch Rigor (John Estrada). He thinks his education is a license to look down on his siblings, especially Tanggol (Coco Martin). Now it becomes a two-versus-one fight as Santino takes Tanggol’s side.

The sibling war grew more intense when David threw Tanggol under the bus, gaslighting their mother Marites (Cherry Pie Picahce), telling her that he was beaten up for no reason. Santino was provoked because he knew that the squabble happened due to David stealing Tanggol’s money.

David and Santino argue a lot because the latter idolizes Tanggol for having a good heart despite his tough persona, unlike David who pretends to be a good guy but is actually the evil one. David lost his temper over Santino’s real talk about who is worth admiring between his two brothers.

In the next scene, Santino was annoyed by David’s seemingly happy mood after Tanggol was ousted from home. He then caught him talking with Camille (Yukii Takahashi) over the phone, so he tried to burst his bubble by telling him, “Sino ‘yan? Nililigawan mo? Alam ba niya na malikot kamay mo?” Santino deprived David of the respect he demands, saying that David couldn’t even show courtesy to their Kuya Tanggol.

Santino was pushed to his limits when David called him names for worrying about Tanggol’s safety. The verbal sparring almost turned into a physical clash, had their Lolo Noy (Lou Veloso) failed to meddle.

But it was only a matter of time before they got violent. The top scene in this list would have to be their exchange of hard blows after Santino confronted David for impregnating Camille and bringing her to their house as if they didn’t have enough problems. As they beat each other up, Camille tried to meddle. David forcefully pushed her away, causing her to bump into a chair and suffer from bleeding.
