We can all agree that "FPJ’s Batang Quiapo" features some truly wicked characters. Among them is Pablo Caballero, brilliantly played by Elijah Canlas. Pablo is ruthless, willing to do anything for revenge, power, and getting what he wants. But let’s not forget, despite his character’s rotten soul, Elijah is just an amazing actor bringing this intense role to life.

Here are some candid photos of him on the set of "FPJ’s Batang Quiapo" that prove he's just a good kid doing his job well and sneaking in ‘kulit’ moments when the cameras aren't rolling.

The Caballeros aren’t a toxic family, you know. Elijah has even found a real ‘mamita’ in the iconic Tessie Tomas, who plays his strict grandma Bettina in the series.

He and his sidekick Ruben (Yce Navarro) make our blood boil with their arrogance. But seeing how chill and playful they are off-camera, we now think they’re a duo we’d love to be friends with.

A photo after the savage storm that is Tanggol (Coco Martin):

Here's a snapshot of them with the angelic Ara Davao, who portrays Pablo’s sister, Katherine. You'll never see his on-screen persona pose so 'pa-cute' and wacky like this:

In the recent episode, Pablo's reign of terror ended dramatically as Tanggol singlehandedly dealt out justice. With both Pablo and his sidekick Ruben now dead, Tanggol's no-mercy punishment for their crimes, including the brutal act inflicted on Bubbles (Ivana Alawi), marks the end of the duo’s wicked deeds. As supporters of Elijah and Yce, we will certainly miss watching them in the series, but we know there will be more opportunities for them from here on.

Don't miss an episode of "FPJ’s Batang Quiapo," airing weeknights on Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live,, TV5, and A2Z.
