Embracing the rainy season, Concert King Martin Nievera opened the afternoon party with “Singing in The Rain.” Mr. Pure Energy Gary Valenciano and Klarisse de Guzman certainly got the memo about the theme and continued with “Here Comes the Rain Again.”
New Gen Dance Princess AC Bonifacio mesmerized the crowd with her cool moves before singing divas Angeline Quinto, Fana, Anji Salvacion and Sheena Belarmino stole the spotlight singing “It’s Raining Men.”
As if on cue, hataw hotties Joao Constancia, Jameson Blake, Jin Macapagal, and the Star Magic Flex boys Anthony Barion, Wize Estabillo, Andrei King, Laziz Rustamov, and Aleck Iñigo entered the stage with their smooth choreography. Sexy and sultry Chie Filomeno joined the dancing hotties to fire up the stage some more.
Unafraid of getting soaked, some of the ASAP stars showcased wet and wild performances under raining showers in the secondary studio. Asia’s Pop Heartthrob Darren Espanto led this crowd with a rocking performance of “Only Happy When It Rains.”
Divine Diva Zsa Zsa Padilla and Asia’s Phoenix Morissette also got into the groove and sang “Rain On Me.” Dancing ladies Vivoree Eslito, Karina Bautista, and Krystal Brimner matched the song with a stunning choreo while being drenched in the raining studio.
OPM icons Ogie Alcasid, Nyoy Volante, Jason Dy, and Jeremy Glinoga took the afternoon party by storm with their performance of “Rain Over Me.” Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez-Alcasid and young rising star Elha Nympha certainly didn’t falter too, as they belted “Set Fire to the Rain.”
After the high-energy opening, ASAP homies cooled down with a chillax kantahan from singing idols Regine, Zsa Zsa, and Anji with Loisa Andalio. The quartet beautifully delivered The Corrs’ hits “Runaway,” “I Never Loved You Anyway,” “Breathless.”
P-Pop girl group BINI leveled up their girl power by teaming up with AC. They unleashed a compelling song and dance performance of Vice Ganda “KaraKaraka.”
Before welcoming a special guest on the ASAP stage, Darren fluttered hearts with the trending song “Left and Right” and Pinoy hataw groups Urban Crew and Manoeuvres Ignite pumped the energy with their dance moves.
Finally, fresh from his Grammy Awards Global Spin performance, Pinoy pride Felip a.k.a. SB19’s Ken gave a live grand performance of his original song “Bulan” on the ASAP stage.
Seasoned singers Martin, Ogie, Angeline, Klarisse, Morissette, Jason, and Nyoy offered a feel-good nostalgia session by singing James Taylor’s timeless music. Along with the skilled Ric Mercado on guitar, the group perfomed “Your Smiling Face,” “Fire and Rain,” and “How Sweet It Is (To Be Loved by You).”
ASAP homies were treated to another exclusive performance featuring Parokya ni Edgar frontman Chito Miranda. He was joined by his fellow Idol Philippines Season2 judges Regine and Gary in singing the classics “Gitara” and “Harana” of Parokya ni Edgar.
After that, Dancefloor Sweetheart Maymay Entrata and model-actress Chie got into an electric clash with the hottest dance showdown.
P-Pop boy band BGYO fronted their sweet voices next by serenading the audience with their original song and “Bola Bola” OST, “Mahal Na Kita.”
Due to popular demand, ASAP’s most iconic singers were paired once again with the New Gen Birit Idols in The Greatest Showdown segment. Gary V and Elha took centerstage while singing Calum Scott’s “You Are The Reason.”
Martin with Fana then crooned Ed Sheeran’s “Perfect” while Zsa Zsa and Darren marvelously sang Meghan Trainor’s “Like I'm Gonna Lose You.”
Ogie and Sheena then captured hearts with their rendition of Little Mix’s “Secret Love Song” before Morissette and Reiven Umali crushed hearts with their performance of Ariana Grande’s “Almost Is Never Enough.”
Regine and Sam Mangubat then closed the magnificent segment with their powerful collab of Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper’s “Shallow.”
